In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 15: Weekend Ka Vaar, we saw housemates getting into an ugly verbal spat during the 'Most Wanted' task and in that, we saw the physical fight between Pratik Sehajpal and Umar Riaz grabbing our attention. But the highlight of the episode was Umar's strong conversation with Tejasswi, where he told the latter that he is a lion and she doesn't need to be protective of him. In fact, fans praised him for that and called him an 'unpredictable lion'. Here are some of the tweets.

A big controversy erupted recently when Umar Riaz was evicted from the Bigg Boss 15 house for pushing Pratik Sehajpal during a task. A lot of netizens felt this was unfair. Umar is upset and still can't believe that he was evicted for something that had happened in the house earlier, too. In a candid chat, Umar, who is a general surgeon, spoke about his shocking exit, his friendship with Rashami Desai, and what his brother Asim Riaz (runner-up in Bigg Boss 13) had to say about his journey. Excerpts:

I feel that I was given the tag of being aggressive right from the beginning. Yes, I was aggressive in tasks, but I’ve never physically pushed or hit anyone. It was said that I was warned earlier too, but I don’t remember when was I given any warning. Then they said my eviction was on the basis of the audience’s vote. But when I came out of the house, I got to know that most people were only showering love on me, so how was this eviction based on the junta’s decision? I feel they have removed me because I was strong since the start and made my way and name among all the known faces. I was getting a lot of support from people too. I am really disappointed with my eviction, especially after reaching the finale. It’s unfair.

If the show wanted to set the bar high and say that physical violence isn’t allowed in the house at all, then they should have done it earlier. When Karan Kundrra pinned down Pratik or when Shamita Shetty pushed Rakhi Sawant, when Simba Nagpal pushed me into the pool or when Tejasswi Prakash pushed Abhijeet Bichukale. Action should have been taken even in these cases. I am also upset that some people said I am a doctor and how can I be so aggressive? But they didn’t tell others that you are an actor and you shouldn't be aggressive or else who would want to work with you. Why was all this said only about me?

Rashami joined the show at a crucial time. She supported me in the house. In fact, in Bigg Boss 13, she had supported my brother Asim, too. So, there was a comfort level between us, as we already knew each other. We are good friends. When she comes out of the show and we meet again, we will get to know each other more. But for now, as I said, Rashami and I are good friends and we like each other that way. There’s nothing more.

I agree that I had said that Sidharth pushing Asim wasn’t right, but I never said that he should be removed from the show. Whenever people asked me, I used to say that he should be given some punishment in the house itself. And yes, it is difficult to control your emotions in this house. Asim said that I played the game well. I didn’t try to be in anyone’s good books, be it my friends or enemies on the show. I was real and people loved that. Apart from that, Asim is really happy with my Bigg Boss journey and he understands that pushing Pratik was my reaction to his action.

Currently, all I want to do is to take a break and rest for a while. My dad called me earlier and asked me if I was getting back to work now. I told him that I’m really tired and my brain and body need some rest. I took up this show to make my own identity and name. I have received a lot of love from people. Now, I would like to try my luck in this industry and see if I get some interesting work here. Another reason I took up Bigg Boss was that I wanted to support my family financially. I think the show will help me achieve more, even fulfill my dreams.

Rashami has always supported Karan, but as soon as I came out of the show, he nominated her; I didn’t like that. I feel that he gets influenced by his girlfriend Tejasswi very easily. In the earlier episodes, I was told that I spoke badly about Tejasswi and did not support her. But the fact is that nobody mentioned the things she said against me.

These are tough times for the world since all are braving through a pandemic and are doing their best by staying at home and adhering to the lockdown. We have also seen many instances wherein people are leaving their comfort zones and going back to their previous duties of being a doctor/nurse. Bigg Boss 13 finalist, Asim Riaz took to Twitter and shared a glimpse of how proud he is of his brother, who is currently treating COVID patients.

Asim took to his Instagram stories and posted a picture of his brother Umar Riaz wearing a PPE uniform, and gloves, writing a prescription as he treats patients on duty. Tagging his brother on the photo, Asim posted a joining hands emoji that depicted the gratitude that he has for him. Umar also reposted the same photo with ‘strong arms’ emojis. While that is about Asim supporting his brother, Umar had also done his bit by posting an encouraging message for Asim fans, urging them to vote for his brother during his BB stint. In fact, when Umar had gone inside the Bigg Boss house to meet his brother, fans were gushing over his good looks and the Riaz brothers’ bond.

Bigg Boss fame Umar Riaz has taken a stand to defend actor Rashami Desai, who was mercilessly trolled online recently. She alleged being harassed by some fans and trolls after she hinted Umar was not single, in an interview. Umar Riaz has taken to Twitter to clear that both he and Rashami are extremely good friends and urged his fans to “relax".After the trolling came to light, he tweeted- “Guys everyone needs to relax. I and Rashmi both are good friends. I want you all to respect that. You guys have been showering us with so much love, so this negativity is not required. Please spread love and not hatred."

After Rashami Desai spoke about his personal life during an interview, Umar was trending on Twitter. The TV actress and he were close in the Bigg Boss 13 house. She rattled some of his fans when she implied that Umar was not single.

Rashami Desai was asked about her bond with Umar to which she replied saying how close she is with him and understands that fans love to see them together. She mentioned Riaz is a very private person and added he might have someone in his life but it’s okay if they don’t share it with each other as they respect their boundaries. Umar’s fans apparently did not enjoy hearing this and started slamming and trolling Rashami for it. After this, the actress reached out to Mumbai police on Twitter and requested them to assist her in this matter as she alleged Umar’s fans were “harassing" her by dragging her family into it.

“There is a lot of excitement but I would be lying if I say I am not nervous,” Umar Riaz shared before entering the Bigg Boss 15 house. While he is a doctor, most know him as Bigg Boss 13 finalist Asim Riaz’s brother. Asim’s fans have been rooting for Umar to complete the former’s journey and get the trophy home.

Umar Riaz was born on 1 January 1990 (Monday) in Jammu and Kashmir the state of India. His father, Riyaz Ahmed Chaudhary, is a politician and retired as Special Secretary to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Government of India. While his mother Shabnam Naaz is a housewife. Umar also has two siblings in his family, brother  Asim Rizz, and sister Mehvish Chaudhary.

Umar’s sister Mahvish Chaudhary works in the education department. Her younger brother, Asim Rizz, is a model and actor. His brother Asim Rizz has also been the first runner-up of television’s famous reality show Personality and ‘Bigg Boss Season 13’. It was also heard in the news about him that Umar Riaz is dating a TV actress. The name of the TV actress has been told as  Sonal Vengurlekar. But, nothing has been confirmed about this yet.

Umar Riaz started his career as an MBBS doctor. He thought since childhood that he has to serve the people by becoming a doctor and also fulfilled his dream, of becoming a doctor after completing his MBBS. Umar Riaz has been a junior doctor in his college after passing MBBS. After some months, Umar Riaz began working as a doctor at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Center in Girgaon, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Apart from this, he is also active as a model and actor and has also worked in many music videos.

Sonal also told in his interview that ‘Asim was living in live-in with Shruti for one and a half years and it was Umar who introduced me to Asim’s girlfriend’.
