Surbhi Jyoti is an Indian television actress, she has so far worked in serials and films. She has made a distinct identity on Indian television with her talent. She is one of the top television actresses in India. Surbhi participated in many debate competitions and received many awards at the national level.

Surbhi received her initial education from Shiv Jyoti Public School and completed her further studies at Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalaya College. Surbhi Jyoti has a Master of Arts degree in English from APJ College of Arts. She was a radio jockey before appearing in the TV serial. She has also worked in a few Punjabi serials such as Ik Kudi Punjab Di, Raula Pai Gaya, and Munde Patiala De, besides Punjabi Serials “Akhiyaan Toh Door Jayen Na” and “Kach Diyan Vanga”.

Surabhi Jyoti was born on 29 May 1988 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Her father is in the business of rubber chemicals. Her mother is a housewife who teaches her how to live life and affectionately calls him Frutti.
Surbhi’s younger brother’s name is Suraj Jyoti and he is an engineer.

Surabhi Jyoti’s name has been associated with many of her co-stars such as Zorawar Singh who is the brother of a Punjabi artist Madhurjit Sargi, Karan Singh Grover, Varun Turkey but Surabhi denied all this and said that she was just Is a friend.

Speaking about rumors about her and actor Karan Singh Grover, Surbhi said, “One rumor that came, in the beginning, was that I am having an affair with Karan. He then said, ‘Welcome to the industry. It’s going to happen like that. I was like ‘ok’. To that point till Pearl (V Puri), mere sake Saath affair Chala Hain (I was said to have affair with everyone). People so much want me to date him and marry him. We used to see those edits and everything and laugh. It’s so funny. It was not that it was bothering me. I was surprised and shocked rather because he (Karan) was married.”

Surbhi is known for her portrayal of Zoya Farooqui in Qubool Hai, Geetanjali in Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, and Bela in Naagin 3. She has also hosted three seasons of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya along with Meiyang Chang. She has featured in music videos including Aaj Bhi opposite actor Ali Fazal and Judaiyaan opposite Darshan Raval. Last year, she featured in the web series Qubool Hai 2.0, a reboot of Qubool Hai alongside Karan

Television actor Surbhi Jyoti, who rose to fame with her Qubool Hai character Zoya Farooqui, opened up about how she struggled in the early days of her career.

Shaheer Sheikh and Surbhi Jyoti are popular television stars. They enjoy massive fan followings on social media.  Shaheer is known for his work in daily soaps such as Navya, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Yeh Rishety Hain Pyar Ke, and others. On the other hand, Surbhi Jyoti has credited several famous daily soaps to her name including Qubool Hai, Naagin, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, and others. These two stars of the television world are going to create magic together as they will feature in the music video ‘Ve Tu’. The song is sung by ace singer Sunidhi Chauhan.

Shaheer and Surbhi are on a promotional spree to promote their music video. The paparazzi spotted them together in the city and they looked cute together. Surbhi looked gorgeous in her on-point makeup and hair. On the other hand, Shaheer looked handsome in his casual best. They also posed for the paparazzi.

Earlier, Surbhi had shared a poster of their music video featuring  Shaheer. They looked stunning in the poster. While sharing the post, she wrote, “Pyaar na dikhai deta hai na sunai padta hai.. bass dil se mehsoos kiya jaataa hai.” She also revealed that the teaser of their music video will be out at 11 am on April 05.

She had also shared some fun BTS (behind-the-scene) pictures from the sets. In the photos, Surbhi can be seen wearing a white gown and Shaheer can be seen wearing a black pantsuit. It seems like they are sitting in a church and some marriage scene was shooting. While sharing the post, Surbhi wrote, “It was a fun shoot.

In a LIVE session with SBS, Surbhi revealed about her school days. She said, “My school days were extremely boring. I wasn’t a naughty child and on the contrary, my mother was quite strict. Although, I used to take part in several competitions and extra-curricular activities. I hated Maths and science subjects and learning and understanding these subjects used to utilize a lot of my time because of which my school days went really boring. However, later in college, I selected subjects of my choice and felt quite nice as I was doing what I really liked and thus my college days were amazing”.

Surbhi Jyoti started her career as a Radio Jockey in Jalandhar during her college days. After that, she worked in the popular Punjabi movie titled Ik Kudi Punjab Di in the year 2010 as a lead actress. Since then she has worked in many Punjabi TV serials and films like Raula Pai Gaya, Munde Patiyala De, Kach Diya Wanga, and Akiyaan To Door Jayen Na. She made her debut on the Hindi television screen with her appearance in the Hindi TV serial titled Qubool Hai in the year 2012.
