It has been reported that Anusha Dandekar, Disha Vakani, Harshad Chopda, and Mallika Sherawat, among many other celebrities, have been approached for the Salman Khan fronted show. Pinkvilla now has a new update on the same. We have learned that actor-comedian Sunil Grover to has been approached for the 15th season. 

A source close to the development informs, “Sunil has been approached for the show, and the makers really want to feature him in Bigg Boss 15. However, there is no clarity as yet on whether Sunil will participate or not.” Grover is one of the most loved actors in India, and his onscreen characters Gutthi, Dr. Mashoor Gulati, and Rinku Devi are extremely popular with the audience. Interestingly, Sunil Grover has also worked with Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. 

Meanwhile, there were rumors that Disha Parmar has been offered Bigg Boss 15. However, in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla recently, Disha denied the news. “This time, no. Not yet. But even if they do offer me, I don’t think I’ll be comfortable. It's a show which I don’t resonate with, I mean I don’t feel comfortable. I have been offered the show so many times, it's just that I never did it because I never felt I was right for it, and I still feel that. So I think I am going to avoid this time too,” she had said.

Amazon Prime Video’s Tandav was subject to criticism and trolling since its release on January 15. The political web series was accused of hurting the religious sentiments of a section of people. Actor Sunil Grover played a supporting role in the series and months after the controversy, has talked about consistently making efforts to take up 'safer subjects'. The actor is all prepped to be seen in another web series, ZEE5’s Sunflower. In a recent interview, the star opened up about the same.

In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Sunil shared his thoughts on taking up projects that don’t hurt the sentiments of people. He said in Hindi, "I have tried my best to take up only safe subjects in my career. I personally feel that nobody's sentiments or beliefs should be hurt." He further explained that due to the impact of social media, people tend to react to things differently. He also added that he has ‘20 filters’ in his brain to make sure no one gets offended. The actor said that there is no control over how people react to things. “You can try, but you can't know how others will react,” he said.

Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tandav received backlash over a couple of scenes. During that time, social media was flooded with some people calling for a boycott. FIRs were also registered against the show’s cast. In an interview, Sunil, who embodied the role of an enforcer named Gurpal Chauhan, shared that the web series 'a work of fiction.

The trailer of the same has been released and it looks quite promising. The intriguing trailer begins with a murder case that Ranvir Shorey and Girish Kulkarni are seen inspecting very meticulously. Sunil Grover’s character Sonu is just being his innocent self. Sunil brings his forte of creating humor into the show, as he is trying to crack jokes amidst the ongoing murder investigation. It also suggests that there’s something eerie about the Sunflower housing society. The story follows its residents’ quest towards making Sunflower the best housing society until it gets embroiled in a murder investigation.

Now, the latest report by TOI states that Sunil Grover has no plans to return to The Kapil Sharma Show. A source close to the actor says, ". It is really unfair to take away the appreciation Sunil Grover got for his performance in his recent web series by pushing stories about a Kapil Sharma show." Moreover, it is also confirmed that the actor has not received any call from Salman Khan regarding his return to the popular show. Earlier, there were numerous rumors of a possible reunion between Sunil and Kapil.

Talking about Sunil Grover's career, the actor was last seen in Tandav co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Gauahar Khan, and others in the lead roles. He will next be seen in the web series titled Sunflower which has been directed by Vikas Bahl. He was reportedly also supposed to go to the USA for a stage show with none other than Salman Khan himself. However, that will depend on whether or not the COVID-19 situation will come to a check.

"During this pandemic, I got ready to do this show because it's a comedy show. Nowadays people are so upset with their lives, that they need a laughter break. When I heard the script of this show, I loved it. I have done comedy shows, but I never got a chance to imitate someone particularly. This will completely be something new for me and my audience," said Paritosh.

"Since childhood, we have been imitating people around us, even our parents used to ask us to act like someone or do some acts for which they even clapped. I believe we all have this talent in us since childhood, we copy things from our surroundings. Imitating others is not an easy task, people may not enjoy what you do, you have to become what character you play, and you have to be within your character's limit so that you don't overdo," he added.

Sushant Singh Rajput who has considered one of Bollywood’s most talented actors passed away on June 14, 2020.
