The vaccination drive for COVID 19 is being carried out for people all over the country, and Saumya Tandon had also received her first dose a few days back. However, there are reports going viral on social media which show that she has used a fake identity card (ID) for getting her vaccination dose. The actress has quashed all these rumors on her Twitter handle.

The actress took her social media handle for slamming the trolls, who claimed that she used a fake ID. Saumya Tandon clarified that the ID card doing rounds on the internet does not have any stamp of authentication and anyone can make such a fake ID using her picture. The actress said in her tweet, “Contrary to some media reports claiming that I have taken my first Covid vaccine dose from A facility in Thane by dubious means is untrue. I have taken my first jab but from a center near my house following proper procedures. Please don’t believe in unverified reports and claims.”

Saumya Tandon also spoke with The Indian Express regarding the viral news. She said, “Anyone can make such IDs using my passport picture that’s available on Google images.” She also said that she cannot take any action against someone making her fake ID as it does not have any stamp.

Saumya Tandon had garnered immense fame from her iconic role as Anita Bhabi. Saumya had mentioned earlier that she left the show because she wants to explore other opportunities in her career. Saumya is considering some projects which are coming to her and will be very soon resuming her shoot. Nehha Pendse has replaced her in the show.

Nehha Pendse, who has won a million hearts with her stint in ‘May I Come In Madam?’, is creating a lot of buzzes lately for her next project. The actress will be seen in &TV’s popular family drama Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. To note, Nehha will be replacing Soumya Tandon and will play the role of Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the show. While the actress is excited to be a part of the show and has begun shooting for the same, Nehha is hopeful that she receives a good response from the audience.

For the uninitiated, Saumya has been playing the role of Anita for a long time and she became a household name with her performance in the show. Talking about replacing her, Nehha stated, “I hope people are kind and accept me gracefully. I hope I don’t have to go through the struggle of replacing someone.” She also urged the audience not to draw any comparison between her and Soumya. While requesting cooperation from the audience, Nehha asked the viewers to give her an opportunity to entertain them as Anita Bhabhi.

On the other hand, Saumya, who is quite happy with Nehha taking over her character, is hopeful that the latter will do justice to the role. “Nehha and I have worked on a non-fiction show. She is a good choice made by the makers. She is very talented and professional too and the audience will also accept her too,” Saumya had told Times of India.

It has been declared that actress Nehha Pendse will be stepping into her shoes. The makers were also happy to reunite with Nehha with whom they had worked in ‘May I Come In Madam?’. Hearing the news Saumya said that she is very happy that Nehha will be essaying her role now and hopes that she will do justice to the role.

Speaking to The Times of India, Saumya said, “Nehha and I have worked in a non-fiction show. She is a good choice made by the makers. She is very talented and professional too and the audience will also accept her too.”  Apart from Saumya, the serial also features Aasif Sheikh, Shubhangi Atre, and Rohitash Gaud. Saumya became a household name with her character of Anita Bhabhi. The serial is very much popular for its light-hearted comedy and has a huge fan following.

Actor Saumya Tandon was an integral part of Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain for 5 years. The actor quit the show in August this year. because she wanted to explore many other objections and subjects. She had confirmed the same and revealed that she essayed the character for five years now and does not see herself portraying it for another five years. The show recently completed 1400 episodes. 

On the occasion, the team sent a cake to Saumya which left her overwhelmed. She shared a video on social media congratulating the team and wrote, "I want to congratulate the show for completing 1400 episodes. This is a great achievement. This is just the beginning. There are going to be many more episodes that will come to entertain the audience and ones which they will love. My good wishes are always with the show and the team."

She added, “I want to thank the channel and the makers for sending me this cake. I was with the show for 5 years although I am not part of them, they still remembered me. This show will always be special to me. I am sure the show is special to everyone else as well.”

Saumya Tandon recently bid adieu to Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain after playing the role of Anita Mishra for 5 long years. Ever since the actress exited the show, rumors of her participating in Bigg Boss 2020 started doing the rounds. While Samuya revealed that she did not leave the comedy-drama for the upcoming reality show, speculations still kept going on. Now, after so many speculations, the actress has again clarified that she is not a part of BB 2020, and people should just stop spreading false information. 

The beautiful actress took to her Instagram handle to share a fun-loving video declaring that she is not participating in Salman Khan hosted season 14. Yes, she has yet again reacted to the BB 2020 news about her and denied all unnecessary rumors. In the video, Samuya can be seen making cute faces, as some melody is placed in the backdrop, and with her actions, she confirms that it is a big 'NO' for her. She captioned the video as 'This is to clarify again and again. Me in Bigg Boss, naa. So, please stop speculating and writing about it. I am NOT going.'  Well, we must say, this is the best way to stop rumors, and Saumya's smile in the video has totally won our hearts.

Earlier in a chat with Pinkvilla, Saumya had admitted that she was approached for Bigg Boss 2020, however, she is not keen to take up the offer. Saumya stated, 'I was approached for Bigg Boss, but they have offered me the show a couple of times before as well. But, I am not doing BB, I don't see myself doing it. I don't think it is for me.'
