Sangeetha Krish was born on 21-10-1978 in Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. She is an Indian Film Actress, Model, Dancer, Singer & Playback Singer who is known for her work in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam & Kannada cinema.

Sangeetha's father and grandfather were film producers and thus from a very early age, she decided to become a film actress. She started taking Bharatnatyam lessons from a very young age. She made her acting debut at the age of 19 through the big-budget Malayalam film Gangothri in the year 1997. The following year, she made her Tamil film debut through the film titled Bhagavath Singh.
From then till 2017, she kept on appearing in various South Indian films as the parallel lead of playing supporting roles. She has worked in successful films like Summer in Bethlehem, Kaadhale Nimmadhi, Ezhupunna Tharakan, and Shradha among others. Not just in Tamil but in Malayalam and Telugu film industry as well, she was an equally successful actress. For her performance in the Telugu film Khadgam and Tamil film Pithamagan, she won herself the Best Supporting Actress award. Of late, she has done some guest appearances in Tamil films such as Vanakkam Chennai, Massu Engira Masilamani, and Mupparimanam. In addition to the silver screen, she has also judged the television show Jodi No. 1. She also served as the anchor of a match-making Tamil reality show called Enga Veetu Mapillai.
