Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of those films that has now become timeless over time. The trio of Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, and Rani Mukerji is still remembered as Anjali, Rahul, and Tina, and well, we cannot forget them after all, can we? As today marked the completion of 20 years since Karan Johar made his directorial debut, Karan made sure to host an event to celebrate the same.
Apart from the leading trio, the other primary cast members were present too. In this picture, we can spot Sana Saeed, Partizan Dastur, Farida Jalal, Archana Puran Singh, Hiroo Johar, and all the others. While the picture definitely missed Salman Khan, Johnny Lever, and Anupam Kher, the mere image does bring back a thousand film-watching memories for all the 90s kids. Those who grew up watching this film have always been the most fascinated by what college life looks like and if it'd be anywhere close to what was being shown. Even today, there are people who'd watch the film like it is the first time they're watching it, and well, let's just say that is after all the kind of charm that the film has over us.
During the interactions at the press conference, a lot was said and everyone seemed to have a story to tell and memories of the movie to share. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and everybody else for that matter got candid about their memories and idea of the film. Shah Rukh, Rani, and Kajol had their own stories to share as they reminisced what was it like when they shot for the film 20 years ago.
&TV's Laal Ishq has lined up quite a few romantic episodes for the upcoming weeks. This is the first time the couple will be seen together on the screen after Bigg Boss 9. On the personal front, the duo plan to tie the knot by the end of this year.
Now, as per the recent reports, Sana Saeed is also cast for the show opposite Kinshuk Mahajan. Their episode is to be produced by Dipti Kanwal’s Sunny Side Up Films. In the show, Sana plays a character who aspires to be an actress but has to sell her soul to the demon. Although she achieves success, she regrets doing the deed. On the other hand, Kinshuk’s character plays her lover and the story revolves around how he saves her forms the crux.
Confirming the news with Tellychakkar, Kinshuk said, ‘I am a horror buff. I have watched a few episodes of Laal Ishq and found the mix of horror and romance intriguing. When I have narrated the story, I was naturally inclined to take it up, as I have never enacted a concept like this before.’
That Khatron Ke Khiladi season 7 has been giving sleepless nights to its contestants is what we can see. Right from creepy to death-facing stunts, the hunks and beauties participating are seen performing them all.
But despite the ''Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda" concept which makes the contestants creep out at times, there is one thing that has been liked not just by audiences but also by the petrified contestants themselves; and that is the title track of the reality show. The peppy and heavy beats themselves bring energy to the listeners. One such actor and contestant who has been bewitched by the beats is Sana Saeed. The actor was seen grooving to the tunes of the title track of the show.
Many of our current stars made their debut as child actors on the small screen. These actors are now grown up to become more glamorous and mature actors of B-town. Over the years, Bollywood has seen some memorable roles played out by child actors. While some of these actors had a successful stint in B-town, a few still are still struggling to find their feet in the industry and the rest, have just started their journey. This Children's Day, try and find if you could recognize a few, and go down the memory lane, switching from the past to the present:
With the theme ‘Bollywood Ke Patakhe’, beauties Sana Saeed and Natasa Stankovic will enthrall audiences with their superlative dance performances in BIG MAGIC’s Diwali special show. To spice up the humor and entertainment quotient hosts Karan Tacker, Vishal Singh, and Gaurav Khanna will be seen taking a dig at their guests, in a manner that will ensure an out-and-out laughter riot for the audience.

I had an absolute blast on the sets with the entire team, and the three hosts Karan, Vishal, and Gaurav are absolutely hilarious. I hope we manage to brighten the Diwali of everybody who watches the show.”
The outbreak of coronavirus has led to 21 days of lockdown throughout the country and the global pandemic has forced everyone to practice social distancing and stay indoors. Actress Sana Saeed who gained immense popularity as a child actress in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai opened up on losing her father, Urdu Poet, Abdul Ahad Saeed on 22nd March, the day when the entire country observed Janta Curfew. The Actress is currently stuck in the US due to the global pandemic and she revealed the situation to be very unfair. Sana who is miles away in Los Angeles mentioned that she wanted to go back and hug her mom and sisters when she received the heartbreaking news.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Sana shared, "My dad was a diabetes patient, and this led to multiple organ failures. It was around 7 am in LA when I got the news and I wanted to rush back home and hug my mother and sisters. The circumstances under which I lost my father were very unfair. But I know in my heart that he was really suffering and he's definitely in a better place now."
She also added, "My family had decided to do the funeral on the same day and we had only three hours in hand. On their way, they were stopped by the cops to check, but after seeing the death certificate, they allowed them to go. Though I wasn't there physically, my sister kept texting me every time during the ceremony,"
Talking about keeping herself busy in this tough situation, Sana revealed that she is praying a lot, doing Yoga, and has taken up an online business course.
Recently, times got in touch with Sana, who expressed her happiness and gratitude over the fact that people still remember her as Anjali. She said, “It feels great that people recognize you after so many years. I feel a lot of gratitude that I got an opportunity to play such an important character at such a young age. And I was so small I never knew that a role like that could go down in history. It makes me very humble and a lot of fun also because I feel like ‘wow! People still recognize me from when I was 8 years old (laughs)’. And every weekend almost, the film is still on TV, so nobody has really forgotten about it.
The actress also opened up about her casting experience. She revealed she was always a working child actor and used to do advertisements back then. Speaking about it, Sana said, “I was a working child actor, doing a lot of ads when I was young and through the ads, I got an opportunity to go and audition for Karan Johar's ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. I went about a lot of rounds of auditions as he was auditioning a lot of children at different locations and then I was shortlisted and finally selected.” Revealing if the process was smooth for her or if she had to struggle, she said, “It's really not a struggle if you are doing what you love. We call it a struggle as we grow up (laughs). Even as a child it takes effort to go to auditions and learn dialogues but I wouldn't call it a struggle. You only struggle if you do things that you don't like. But if you are constantly pursuing what you like to do and love then, it's a journey and it has its ups and downs.”

Where the fringes have given way to bangs, Sana Saeed's child-like innocence has been replaced with a mean streak in 'Student Of The Year'. Sana, who plays Alia Bhatt's competitor, has gone for an image makeover in her comeback film. While her 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' image is still etched in the minds of many, Sana has gone ahead to bowl over her fans with loud make-up, skimpy clothes, and lean figure.
Though her first glimpse in the film comes as a stark contrast to her naïve image of Anjali, Sana fails to impress the audience with her acting skills. Taking a cue from 'High School Musical' and 'Mean Girls, Karan has tried to put Sana's character into the bracket of a dumb rich blonde who tries to seduce her competitor's boyfriend. And, despite giving her some screen space, Sana's presence just fails to impress the audience.
Filmmaker Karan Johar introduced Rani Mukerji to the world of Bollywood almost 14 years ago with 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and similar comparisons are being drawn between Sana’s comeback in 'Student Of The Year'. While Rani played the second lead in the 1998 blockbuster, Sana seems to sail the same boat right now. Rani's character in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' was that of a spoilt rich girl who has the entire college drooling over her. Similarly, Sana’s character in 'SOTY' has men especially Varun Dhawan drooling over her charm and sexy look.
A little birdie tells us that Sana Saeed will do an item number in Fugly. Sana is fondly remembered as the Lil Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She returned to the acting world as an adult and made her screen debut on television with the show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. In 2012, Sana got her big Bollywood break as she was seen in a supporting role in Karan Johar's Student of The Year, which emerged as a box-office success. (2000) in which she reprised her role from Laisse Parler ton Coeur (1998) as the little Anjali in a guest appearance. Prior to Laisse Parler ton Coeur (1998), she had refused Rahul Gupta's Hum Panchi Ek Daal Ke, since she could not continue studying while shooting it; so Laisse Parler ton Coeur (1998) was shot during her school vacation. She won the Sansui Viewers' Choice Award as the Best Child Artist for it.
