Besides Rohit and Prajakta, Mismatched also featured Rannvijay Singha and Chak De! India fame Vidya Malavade in pivotal roles. The entire cast did not have to work too hard to become an instant favorite amongst the masses. This new-gen love story made Rohit and Prajakta quite popular amongst their fans.

He recalled finding it extremely weird but later went on to appreciate the commitment. He also spoke about a sweet fan gesture.

Speaking about the incident that got him freaked out, Feels Like Ishq star Rohit Saraf said, “I don’t necessarily know of any weird gestures, though I did feel weird about one thing at that time when it happened six years ago. Someone tattooed my initials on their ring finger, and I felt that it was extreme. I freaked out and ran away from there at that time but now when I think about it, I realize how sweet and what a huge commitment it was and I appreciate it. However, at that time I found it extremely weird and didn’t know how to deal with it but to just run away.”

Further in the conversation, Rohit recalled an endearing gesture from the fan and said, “I don’t think I can choose one, but some time ago, I was on this fans’ zoom call with about 100 odd people. There, some of them sang for me. When I say 'sang', they didn’t just sing but they sang with their hearts and how beautifully...I remember sitting there amongst hundreds of people plus my team, and I ended up getting so emotional and overwhelmed. I think that is one of the most beautiful feelings I have ever felt."

Feels Like Ishq is an anthology made up of several short films that showcase the idea of love and romance with different people and situations. I am nervous (to see) whether a 15-year-old today will resonate with the love story of Tara and Aditya.” Anand further added, “I don’t know the key to a good rom-com. You say what you feel like and hope it resonates. My mortal fear is that one day I will tell my story and nobody will care about it.”

Anand further spoke about his segment Feels Like Ishq and said, “When you see the story of Aditya and Tara, you will see both are wanting to achieve two completely different things. The attempt is that they rub off on each other a little bit.” He further spoke about the evolving format of love and said, “Love stories have changed thanks to social media… So I don’t know how people in their teens romance anymore. My voice is not authentic. But it will come back, not just romantic comedies but romantic dramas. It is just about time.”

Anand Tiwari is a known figure in the world of the Hindi film industry. He has dabbled in both acting and direction successfully. During this time, actors and influential personalities have used their social media handles to reach out to people in need by arranging for ventilators, oxygen cylinders, and hospital beds. Actor Rohit Saraf who recently recovered from the Covid-19 virus has opened up about his battle in an interview with Hindustan Times.

Speaking about the prolonged crisis, he explained that eight or nine of his friends also contracted the virus while they were shooting at different locations. Amid the chat, he also expressed his disbelief over the number of people who still head out of their houses without wearing protective gear. “I see people spitting on the road. It’s beyond my understanding,” he continued. He also talked about the leniency certain people show once they have battled the virus. “They think they’re safe, but we still don’t have full clarity on how this virus is progressing and mutating,” he added.

Saraf explained that after testing negative for the virus, he experienced feelings of gratitude and agony. He spoke about how he cherishes life a lot more now that he has struggled with the virus. He also emphasized the importance of taking care of one’s health, especially during the ongoing pandemic. “It’s like tonight, you’re absolutely fine, but tomorrow morning, you could be struggling to find oxygen. It’s that scary and unpredictable,” he said.

Netflix series Mismatched starring Rohit Saraf and popular YouTuber Prajakta Koli recently released on the streaming platform and has been loved by a section of audiences. The six-part series revolves the story around two young teens in college who are set up with their parents for a potential marriage match. While Saraf has starred in films like The Sky Is Pink and Ludo, it was Koli's first project. And if you think acting in front of the camera was a breeze for Koli, then you may be mistaken.

In a chat with Mid-Day, Koli revealed that she experienced a 'sense of discomfort' while acting despite being a vlogger. She said, "I would get the heebie-jeebies during auditions. I would get audition calls from casting agents, but I used to find an excuse to get out of them. Auditions would break me into a sweat. I act in my videos, which is my world, but there was a sense of discomfort in acting in front of others."

Recalling her audition experience, Koli said, "I went to the audition in a T-shirt, sweatpants, and chappals. I did not even bother to wear contact lenses, instead sporting my glasses. I was sure they would never call me back." However, she bagged the project and said an actual film set was quite a different feeling.
