In an intense talk with Rannvijay, he shed more light on the show and spoke at length of how social media today has turned out to be nothing but a pit of negativity for all to pour out.

" Our show is called Troll Police. It will be monitoring the trolls that happen online. You know, till basic trolling it is okay but as soon the trolling gets abusive or like a personal attack, or gets in the space of bullying, body shaming, or slut-shaming, that's where we come in." said Rannvijay. "If you do it personally, it becomes easy to get that person behind bars for defaming or for mentally harassing someone. Freedom of speech is completely misused. It does not give you the right to abuse someone personally, in front of their family, or friends. That needs to be stopped."There are a lot of trolls made by people just for their fun time. They don't realize that it can destroy someone's mental health or relationship."
Further, while talking about TV shows that somehow also indulge in some kind of trolling on national television in the form of Roast-Comedy, Rannvijay had a wise take on it.
"When the roast comedy happens on National Television, the viewers need to be properly told that a 'roast' is happening and is happening with the consent of the particular celebrity on board. (Who is getting trolled) The roast should definitely be done in the right manner and in the right kind. It is very essential.
"Even during Roadies, we make sure to tell the rejected contestants that they are definitely worth a lot more in life but it's just that in Roadies, they are not fit enough. The makers have to be careful. Similarly, in such comedies where a celebrity is roasted, it is essential that the maskers are sensitive and clever enough to make sure that they do not send across a wrong message to their viewers. It can flip and the viewers can feel that it is okay to probably be body-shame. If the makers of the show, post their act can spread awareness by putting out a disclaimer that it is wrong to body shame or roast someone in real life, it would be ideally the best thing to do. It's about how you spread awareness."
Ask him whether the show will help the Cyber Crime cell curb the online harassment and he says, "Internet was invented way back. But it is now that the internet trolls have started occurring. So how can a judiciary be ready for some wrongdoings that never happened in the past at all? We too have been working with the ones who are working with the cyber section. They are also learning. One can't say that our Indian judiciary system or cyber cell is weak. They are doing their job. The show will help develop a certain fear in the minds of people who troll that in case they do it, their life can go for a toss. We can take severe actions against them. Also usually these haters' peer groups do not know that their friends or family members are trolling someone really bad. So it would definitely be embarrassing for the trollers to get exposed in front of their friends."
Has he himself faced severe trolling ever? Ask him this and Rannvijay says, "I really don't get trolled but with this show I know I am opening up to a lot of trolling. I am strong enough to let it go. I have never been drastically trolled but I am waiting for someone to troll me real bad so that I can give it back to them and scare them for life. Even if I don't get to meet that person in real, I will make sure that the person lives in fear for a long time. I feel that the ones who constantly troll for unnecessary photos are nothing but mentally ill and deserve no sympathy."

Imagine a love story across continents – a girl from London and a boy from Mumbai, who’ve had their Roka ceremony (a traditional Punjabi pre-wedding religious function) in Dubai, then exchanging their vows and actually getting married in Mombasa, Kenya, and having a lavish reception in Delhi. Rannvijay and Priyanka were at their traditional best for the Roka, with Priyanka wearing a heavily embroidered and netted gold and silver salwar, while Rannvijay wore a matching cream and silver chickpea Lucknowi embroidered sherwani.

The Priyanka Vohra – Rannvijay Singh marriage was a destination wedding in the wild, quite literally. The couple and their close friends and family headed to Mombasa, the island city in Kenya that is known for its natural beauty and adventure sports. After the wedding in Mombasa, the couple left for London, where the Vohra family resides. The girl’s parents threw a grand reception party for friends and family in London and were said to be attended by a lot of well-known non-resident Indians based in Britain.

A family that sets an example nurtures their children with qualities like hard work, sincerity, and generosity. Television & film actor and MTV fame Rannvijay Singh come from a family of prosperous people who set the bar of accomplishment high from the beginning. He draws inspiration from his grandparents and parents, from who he has learned the best of his life lessons, to become the spectacular icon that he is today.

Five generations of Rannvijay’s family served in the army, while the women at home demonstrated severe strength in living life. A combination of confidence and strength aided in building his very charming persona. Such is the bonding in the Singh family that all his ambitions, happiness, adventures, holidays, and the like revolve around them and his friends. “My life has no point without my family and friends. They are my priority and will always be,” he adds.

Rannvijay believes in making the most of every opportunity after understanding one’s own potential. He ideates that one is not doing their job as a human if they aren’t aiming to achieve the optimum of their flair. Being a passion-driven person, he maintains that he doesn’t concur that he is the “best” at one thing. Rather, he strives to be better than average or even good at something. Such is the charm of his thoughts that the youth look up to Rannvijay for encouragement.

Being so in love and interested in the work he does makes this star seem like a glowing bead of energy and enthusiasm. So be it attending a game at the end of a long day or riding a bike to Leh, nothing mentally tires Rannvijay. He seizes every work opportunity, making him one of the most sought faces on Indian television

Adventure and Rannvijay have always gone hand in hand. We hear the word “Roadies,” and we conditionally associate it with him, the first winner on the show. It is this very aspect of his work life that gets his heart beating in excitement. The tasks in Roadies, the adventures he performed for the action web series Pukaar, or the stunts in a movie are things he enjoys about his job. “When performing an action scene, you’re not just a character on the show. It isn’t just acting. It is about being physically involved in a challenging activity. I love it!”

Nonetheless, watching his daughter run toward him is a feeling that competes with nothing else in the world! Rannvijay is indeed a textbook example of striking the right balance between a time-demanding job and family.

Every person interprets success differently. While the world tries to weigh him down with questions like why his last ten films haven’t been a box-office hit, Rannvijay’s take on success is extraordinary. The reality that he started working at the age of twenty, that he inspires thousands, and above all, that his parents are proud of him adds up to his interpretation of success.

Today, Ranvijay is the face of many brands and is in talks to associate with several businesses. Had he let the opinions of those who questioned his work back then affect him, he wouldn’t be confident in the accomplishments he’s making. “Lastly, if you are happy, you are successful. Being with a family that loves and appreciates you, outline your achievements.”

Rannvijay is one who doesn’t stop with the crowd but chooses a path that makes him happy. He is the proud owner of a company that organizes sports leagues and a clothing brand called Disrupt. The world is also watching him in the current season of Roadies and Splitsvilla on MTV. Very soon, Netflix will launch a series titled Mismatch that stars Rannvijay in an enthralling role. But of late, Rannvijay is investing quite a lot of his pandemic time in vlogging. He is also actively staying involved in making the required changes in his businesses to flourish in the post-covid era.

Having experienced ups and downs in life, Rannvijay urges people to take an interest in what he does in life apart from being a celebrity. He worries that a large part of today’s youth feels that having a starry profession is enough to live happily. But he opines that they should think less about how to earn money and more about the right ways to save and invest their income.

A creative spark of wanting to travel, ride, and follow adventurous dreams allowed Rannvijay to try something no one in his family had. “Roadies defined me. By the time the show reached season five, I met people who wanted to perform tasks as I did.”

Eventually, he became a part of the selection team, which later even sped off internationally. For Rannvijay, the seventeen-year journey on Roadies from being a contestant to an anchor to the one who challenges gang leaders on the show is a collection of irreplaceable memories.
