One of the most popular daily soaps Sasural Genda Phool (SGP) will be coming up with Season two. The show entertained a lot and is still very much fresh in the minds of the audience. It featured Ragini Khanna and Jay Soni in the lead role. The first season was based on the backdrop of Old Delhi. Well, as per sources, the cast members Supriya Pilgaonkar and Sooraj Thapar will be probably seen in the show. But now, fresh reports are coming in that the lead actress may not be part of the new season.

As reported by Telly Chakkar, there is a Problem Between Ragini and the makers over the monetary issue. The production house is in talks with actress Shagun Sharma as they want the show to go on floors soon. Shagun has also spoken about it and said that she has been in talks with them. However, nothing has been finalized yet. There is no official confirmation so far. To note, the actress was last seen in Ishk Par Zor Nahi and was also featured in Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, Gangaa, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, and Tu Aashiqui.

As reported earlier, the makers are working on an interesting story for the new season. They are hoping to recreate the magic and strike a chord with the audience all over again. The first season's story was about two very different people, Ishaan Kashyap and Suhana Bajpai, living in Delhi and how they fall in love with each other and realize their mutual love.

Rajeev Khandelwal's talk show JuzzBaatt… Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak has grabbed many eyeballs. The show has seen many celebrities getting up close and personal about their life and people have lauded them too. Television celebrities namely Rohit and Ronit Roy, Adaa Khan, Divyanka Tripathi, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Rakhi Sawant, Barun Sobti, Karan Patel, and Aashka Goradia marked their presence on the show.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Karan V Grover and Ragini Khanna come together on the talk show and will be seen having a light-hearted conversation. During one of the sequences, Rajeev plans to pull a prank on Ragini which doesn't go well with her. It so happened that Rajeev plays a video where an anonymous man is seen telling Ragini that he is upset because she left him. The man's face is shown blurred.

Actresses Ragini Khanna and Saumya Tandon will be part of the second season of the show "Entertainment Ki Raat". 

The actresses will join comedians Balraj, Mubeen Saudagar, and child artiste Divyansh on the show's second season which is titled "Entertainment Ki [email protected]". It promises to have more laughter, tons of drama, gossip, and Tete-a-Tetes with celebrity guests. 

"I loved watching the 'Entertainment Ki Raat' team in the first season and can't wait to be a part of the second edition. We have already started shooting for the show and unlike new teams, we seem to have found the perfect sync with each other in terms of our comic timing and punches," Ragini said in a statement.  

"All of us have developed an excellent rapport with each other which is sure to translate on-screen as well," she added. Saumya will be returning as a host of a show after a few years. "I have been busy with my daily sitcom 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain'. After hosting shows like 'Dance India Dance', 'Comedy Circus' and 'Zor Ka Jhatka', 'Entertainment Ki Raa[email protected]' will be the perfect choice to start again," she said. 

Zee TV's popular chat show JuzzBaatt… Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak has been shedding light on the personal lives of many popular celebrities. Until now, the show has been graced by celebs like Rohit Roy, Ronit Roy, Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Patel, Rakhi Sawant, Aashka Goradia, and Dheeraj Dhoopar, among the others. The show is being hosted by television actor Rajeev Khandelwal.

Recently, one more guest to make an appearance on the show was Ragini Khanna. She walked in with actor Karan V Grover for a chat with the host. Both the actors shared interesting tidbits about their lives and their journey in the industry.

During the episode, Rajeev asked Ragini if she has ever enjoyed the benefits of being related to Govinda, to which Ragini replied, "People very easily say that I am Govinda’s Bhanji and things would have been easy for me to get into the industry but that’s not true. He has worked very hard to get where he is today and I have not even done half as much as he has.  I  have heard of the times when Govinda has even walked all the way from Virar to Juhu to give auditions. But to give you a perspective, Govinda has never pulled in favors for his own children.  If people feel I got work because of him then they really need to do some research about me. I have worked a lot to achieve my targets. So, despite being Govinda’s niece, I had to struggle in the industry, just the way he did years ago."

Apart from such intense conversations, Karan and Ragini also had some fun on the show. They danced on some of the Govinda numbers, and the host and Ragini even pulled a prank on each other.

Ragini had shot to fame with her portrayal of Suhana in the Star Plus show Sasural Genda Phool. She had also appeared in shows like Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi and Bhaskar Bharti.

"This show has a beautiful blend of hosting, interviewing and fun banters. This is a new format and I am looking forward to adding my style to it. I personally like the comedy space and these shows bring a smile to the otherwise stressful lives of viewers." "Though I am not a stand-up comedian, I am spontaneous and hope to evolve and explore more on this show. My look will be a lot more glamorous than before but I will keep it classy and elegant, which is what my style is all about," she added. "Entertainment Ki [email protected]" is slated to launch on the Colors channel soon.

The actor is even stepping into the shoes of Rahul Gandhi for a short film. Joining him was the stunning Mugdha Godse. Ragini Khanna, who was looking all radiant and glowing in pink, took to Instagram to share a picture of her having that vote mark on her finger. Avinash Mukherjee, who rose to fame with his character Jagya in the show Balika Vadhu, also joined the bandwagon. Talking about cousin Krushna Abhishek, the Sasural Genda Phool actor was asked about how his edgy humor is not going well with Bollywood celebrities. To which she said, "Humour is personal and subjective. I assume most celebrities aren't aware of what they are getting into when they agree to appear on the show. Every artist has a sensitive side and they might feel offended over something; you can't be loose-tongued in the garb of comedy. My humor won't be at anybody's cost. Having said that, there are more pressing issues that need to be taken seriously."She added, "I will be comfortable going on Krushna's show because he has been making fun of me all through my life."

On the work front, Ragini is set to be seen in a film titled Gurgaon, which will be screened at the Macau film festival. When she was asked about her sabbatical from television, the actor concluded by saying, "After doing 13-odd shows in six years, I decided to take a break because I was physically and mentally exhausted. When I play a character, I become the part. It had taken a toll on my health and I needed to attend to it. Also, I lost perspective -there comes a time when you want to stop and take stock of things. I wanted to do work, which satisfies and makes me happy."
