Priyank Sharma opened up about rumors of his break-up with his girlfriend Benafsha Soonawalla and cheating on her. The two, who developed feelings for each other on Bigg Boss 11, have been together for more than three-and-a-half years.

Actor Priyank Sharma addressed rumors of his relationship with VJ Benafsha Soonawalla being in trouble. It was reported that the two had broken up and some news articles even claimed that he cheated on her.

Priyank Sharma and  Benafsha Soonawalla participated together in Bigg Boss 11 and became close on the show. After claiming that they were just friends for a long time, they confirmed their relationship with Instagram posts last year. They have been together for around three-and-a-half years now.

In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Priyank was asked about rumors of him cheating on Benafsha and their break-up. “Things have been fine. Every couple has its ups and downs, I believe. That’s a part of the entire relationship. If you are holding yourself very strongly, I believe you can surpass anything you feel like. Woh Tumhare par hai, Kitna effort daal Rahe ho (It depends on how much effort you put in),” he said.

Priyank said that he was approached by a lot of reporters at the time of these rumors, and asked if he was still with Benafsha. “But till the time that I am not wanting to announce or maybe not wanting to tell, why to just cook up any kind of story for no reason? So that’s why I and Ben stopped posting our pictures also. Nazar thodi si lagne lag gayi thi. Humne rok Diya (Our relationship was attracting the evil eye, we stopped it),” he added, saying that sometimes, people ‘unintentionally’ cast an evil eye, so he would rather keep his relationship private.

Last year, in an interview with a leading daily, Priyank said that while he and Benafsha were drawn to each other during  Bigg Boss 11, they began dating only much later. “We developed feelings for each other but didn’t want to make any commitment without being sure. Once out in the real world, we spent a lot of time together and realized that we were in love,” he said.

Splitsvilla X’s Priyank Sharma and Divya Agarwal’s breakup on national television was surely one that caught a lot of attention. While the couple was seen in much love during the show, things went downhill after Priyank participated in Bigg Boss and was seen getting along with Benafsha Soonawalla. Their intimacy was noticed by everyone and Divya confronted Priyank when she entered the BB house during a task. She also alleged that Priyank had done wrong with many other girls and broke up with him on national TV. Moreover, Benafsha was dating Varun Sood then and her closeness with Priyank led to a rift between the couple. Later, Varun and Divya started dating each other and are still going strong.

After various fights and controversies, Bigg Boss 11 has broken all records for getting onboard the craziest contestants this season. Every contestant is only interested in fighting be it Arshi Khan, Vikas Gupta, Shilpa Shinde, or Priyank Sharma. Looks like TRPs are extremely important for the show and that's what has resulted in so many fights and controversies. 

Recently, after having a tough day inside the house, Benafsha Soonawalla in the night went on Priyank Sharma's bed and slept with him. The problem began when Puneesh Sharma-Bandgi Kalra saw the two sleeping in the same bed and started gossiping about the same and started to tell the other housemates that Ben and Priyank made out.

The next morning, when Vikas Gupta learned about it, he got furious with Priyank Sharma and Benafsha for doing this on National Television, but Priyank and Benafsha justified themselves by saying that they slept on the same bed but with no intention and they even had separate quilts. Later, even Hina Khan joined in and scolded Benafsha and Priyank, though Vikas and Hina sounded extremely concerned.

Benafsha continuously kept justifying herself and saying that Priyank is her best friend and she didn't do anything wrong, while Priyank assured Vikas that this won't happen again.

If Benafsha and Priyank are genuinely besties and comfortable with each other, then we don't think it's a big deal even if they share a bed.  

TV producer Vikas Gupta had leveled bullying allegations against Parth Samthaan and Priyank Sharma in the month of February. While Vikas was in the BB 14 house, he said that he ‘will call out each and everyone who made his life hell’. Now, in a recent interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Priyank was asked about his view on the allegations. The actor refused to comment on the matter, stating that Vikas would be the right person to answer it.

During the chat, Priyank was asked to talk about the allegations of ‘bullying’ leveled against him by the producer. To this, he replied that he doesn’t know anything about that. He declined to comment on the same and stated that he’d rather opt for silence and let his work speak. He voiced his opinion about the situation and explained that according to him, Vikas ‘keeps provoking’. He added, “I believe he keeps provoking and saying things. Usko jis cheez mein believe karna hai, kar le yaar. Khush Rahe. Par Kitna? Ho Gaya. Just be happy, that’s it.”

Earlier this year, Vikas took to his Instagram handle to claim that Priyank and Parth had made false allegations against him. In his message, he asked the actors to publically apologize for the same. He had demanded that they admit that their claims were false within a duration of 24 hours, or else he would be ‘forced to prove otherwise’. In the caption of the post, Vikas wrote, “I have been forced to take this step cause it’s affecting my work, personal life, and more.”

Priyank Sharma has been making headlines as season 2 of his popular web series ‘Punch Beat’ arrived recently. Speaking about his personal life in a chat with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Priyanka mentioned that his equation with his ex Divya Agarwal, and Varun Sood is great. He said that everything is sorted between the three of them and he is willing to let the bygones be bygones. Priyank further mentioned that he never understood the issue Divya and Varun had with him and he never tried to figure it out either. He said that he might have hurt the couple unintentionally but he respects them. 

Speaking of handling his issues with Divya and Varun, Priyank said, “Theek hai, I respect ki Kabhi unintentionally ho Gaya Hoga (Okay, I respect that I might have hurt them unintentionally) because it was unintentional. Nothing was purposely done. Kabhi kabhi lag sakta hai kisiko bhi bura kisi bhi cheez ka. Aisa main Colunga Nahi ki main Bhi perfect Raha Honga (People can feel bad about things sometimes and I am not saying that I have always been perfect).” He further added, “But I believe that with time, they have also realized that we are not that kind of people also. And I remember talking to both of them.”

Further in the conversation, Priyank said, “Unfortunately, recently, Divya’s father also passed away. It was very unfortunate. I ended up texting her, and we spoke on a very good note. I ended up speaking to Varun also. Everything is good, Dono Taraf Se (from both sides).” Divya and Varun participated in the show ‘Ace of Spades’ together and ended up falling in love with each other. They are currently in a relationship.

Priyank Sharma gave his fans and followers a pleasant surprise when he made his relationship with Benafsha Soonawalla official. The handsome actor’s declaration obviously broke several hearts. And looks like some of his fans and followers are not happy with his decision to date Benafsha. The model-actor lashed out at these trolls who questioned his relationship.

Earlier talking about his relationship, Priyank in interaction with India Forums had said, “Benafsha and I were actually seeing each other since ‘Bigg Boss’, but a lot of people didn’t know about it. We didn’t ever want to come out till the time there was some surety and we were figuring ourselves out. And I must say, it’s been a good 2.5 years. We found each other inside the BB house and wanted to take our time to make it tighter as a relationship.”

While Priyank could not win Bigg Boss 11, he managed to win hearts, especially of young girls. And he also found some good friends in Hina Khan, Hiten Tejwani, and Vikas Gupta.
