NIKHIL CHINAPA WIKI, AGE, HEIGHT, FAMILY, WIFE, BIOGRAPHY & MORE
Nikhil Chinapa whose real name is Kalengada Bhemaiah Chinapa is an Indian actor, Disco jockey, radio jockey, video jockey, and a TV presenter on MTV India.

Nikhil Chinapa has been sharing a lot of throwback pictures recently. It looks like he is missing the old days badly and also his friends. He had also shared a picture with actor Ayushmann Khurrana. Both co-hosted two seasons of the reality show India’s Got Talent two decades ago. The actor had made his Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor. And today once again he has taken a trip down a memory lane and shared a throwback picture on Instagram from VJ days.
Taking to his official handle, he wrote, “#TBT!! Some of @mtvindia’s VJs from the second and third era of MTV's VJ-hunt. I don’t know which year this was but I know it’s been well over a decade since I’ve pulled a face like that!!” In the picture, we can spot him, Sophie Choudry, Anusha Dandekar, Vivan Bhathena, and Ramona Arena. All are looking young as they were just starting their career. Today, all have come a long way in their career but this picture will make you nostalgic.
He had also shared a picture with Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, and Raftar. They were together during Roadies hosting days. He captioned it as ‘#TBT to 2018. I miss these guys!! This was in Bhalukpong during our #RoadiesXtreme journey. What was your favorite moment from that season?’
"From the time I started diving two decades ago, the amount of plastic in our oceans has surged. Pristine reefs now have plastic wrappers and packets floating through them, often getting caught on corals," Nikhil said."Single-use plastic is one of the key ocean pollutants along with microplastics that have now found their way into plankton -- the basic food source of all living creatures in the ocean," he notedNikhil is trying to do his bit to raise awareness about environmental pollution.
"I'm trying to bring to focus the environment and, more importantly, the water crisis we are currently in the middle of. As a nation, we survive from monsoon to monsoon, which is extremely risky. 'Survive' is the apt word as a single failed monsoon will lead to an agrarian and humanitarian crisis in a heartbeat. Preserving and properly managing our rivers, basins, and tributaries is vital to the health of the land and population that lives on it," he said.
"We also need to pay attention to a critical area of water management -- which is groundwater depletion. Focusing on recharging the groundwater aquifers will have enormous benefits for us as a nation with a growing population, whose economy is significantly driven by agricultural growth. Better management will also mean resorting to local and traditional methods of harvesting and storing rainwater," summed up Nikhil, who is supporting the campaign against environmental pollution on "MTV Roadies Revolution".
Much before making his big Bollywood debut in 2012, Ayushmann Khurrana won the audience's over with his quirky hosting style in 2010 with India's Got Talent along with DJ Nikhil Chinapa. The duo were a riot on the stage and usually left everyone in splits with their random one-liners and jokes. On Saturday, Nikhil took to Instagram to share some decade-old photos of them from the sets of IGT in 2010. And we must say, the photos are pure gold. Nikhil also wrote a detailed caption and remembered Ayushmann's 'burning desire' to be an actor and not a star. The post made Ayushmann emotional'.
Sharing a series of photos and videos, Nikhil wrote, "This is such a lovely memory!! Thank you @envyas!! It’s from 2010 when @ayushmannk and I hosted India’s Got Talent on @colorstv The pictures are from us shooting around Ahmedabad and with contestants in the waiting area. The video is of us dancing in the make-up van we both shared. As usual, I’m playing some house music (Nalin & Kane - Beachball (not sure of the remix)) on my laptop. I’m also not sure what Ayushmann thought of the music but he was most sporting and tolerant of it. I also remember him being extremely encouraging and helpful with my lines. My Hindi (as many of you know) isn’t the best in the world and Ayushmann would gently correct my grammar when I’d mess it up. I’ve struggled with what’s “ka” and what’s “ki” all my life!!"
Bigg Boss begins and the talks about anticipated contestants for the season start to erupt. This year is no different as a lot of names like that Nikhil Chinapa, and Sugandha Mishra, have already started doing rounds on the internet. Not just them but a lot of other contestants have been approached and might become a part of the show for this season of Bigg Boss. As per the reports, Bigg Boss 14 will be premiering from September end. From the lockdown-based theme to the new rules and regulations, truly one can expect something unexpected from the season.
After winning Roadies, Splitsvilla, and Bigg Boss 9, Prince Narula has definitely owned himself the title of being the reality show King. He believes in talking his heart out and that's what we will exactly get to see on MTV Roadies Rising. So recently, Prince lost his calm over none other than his BFF Neha Dhupia while performing a task and mentoring his team on the show.
When his gang was fighting for immunity against Neha and Nikhil’s gang, Prince got on a series of sarcastic comments about Neha. Gang members have been fighting tooth and nail and so have the gang leaders. Recently, three gangs were seen fighting for immunity, and Prince and Nikhil’s gangs ganged up against Neha’s gang. After the task for immunity was over, Neha Dhupia said, “There is one team, I really hope doesn’t make it and I know which team it is! I have got my fingers crossed, that one team really loses today.”
Prince pretty well knew that Neha’s comments were targeted at him. Further, an annoyed Neha sarcastically also said, “Prince you have won Roadies, Splitsvilla and Bigg Boss and you know how to strategize”, to which Prince’s response took the entire crew by surprise when he said, “I know the work I have done. I am happy about the fact that people have at least seen the work I have done”. A shocked Neha replied, “I think I can maintain my respect by not indulging in conversations with him right now.” Ouch!
MTV Roadies is back with its brand new season- Roadies Rising and we can't hold our excitement already! We caught up with the gang members Rannvijay Singh and Nikhil Chinapa in Alwar where the crew is shooting currently and got the coolest rapid-fire round done with them. From talking about the laziest gang member to their favorite annoying member, Rannvijay and Nikhil gave us a laugh riot. A crew member also shared, "We have never seen this side of them in any of the seasons before. This year looks bigger and better."
Who doesn't know Nikhil Chinapa? He carries himself with a class and girls are in praise him for his fashion sense. He was the host of MTV Splitsvilla Season 9 with Sunny Leone and both just slew it. Now, Nikhil Chinapa is all set to take the Roadie's journey as a judge and was in news for replacing Karan Kundrra. In an interview with us, he opened up on Karan's slap gate controversy and also talked about his journey from being an architect to judging a show.
My career has been a bit of a roller-coaster ride and lots lots of fun. I started off as an architect, I did a thesis in Hospital Design, and then joined NCB. While being an architect, I was also a radio presenter. Then I became a DJ and then I became a judge on Roadies and then a host on Splitsvilla. Then, I started doing music festivals and I have also launched my own clothing line. A lot of things are happening in my professional life.
Oh, I am very kicked about it and the show has changed a lot ever since I was a part of it as a judge. The format of the show has changed a lot as it has become more layered and intense. The competition is not just between the contestants, but between the judges also and we are friends in real life.
I have no idea how these reports got out. That's not why Karan left the show, he has another assignment and the dates were clashing. The channel got in touch with me and asked whether I would want to step into his shoes because he has already chosen his gang and the only thing which was left was to finalize the gang which all the gang leaders do together. So he and I did it together and we discussed the gang members. I have no idea how this story got started as he is currently shooting in the UK and that's the reason he couldn't be part of the Roadie's journey. I think in India everyone loves a little controversy (laughs).
Well, Rannvijay has been a part of Roadies since its inception. He is the original Roadie and still is. He knows the show better than anyone of us. But the other gang members and gang leaders have also figured out how to play the game. Both Rannvijay and I have busy lives and we both are looking forward to spending time with other each other and traveling together.
