Actor  Kashmera shah has reacted to  Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja's recent comments about her and Krushna Abhishek. Their family feud (Krushna is the nephew of Govinda) was fired up again after Krushna refused to be part of an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, in which Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja were invited as guests. 

After his refusal, Sunita said in an interview with a leading daily that there was no chance of a reconciliation with Krushna and Kashmera. “All I can say is that the issues will never get resolved and I don’t want to see his face ever again in my life,” she has said.

Now, Kashmera has reacted to the controversy in an interview with Aaj Tak. She said, “Krushna ko lekar faltu baatein karte hain. Ho sakta hai uss episode mein Krushna ki zaroorat na padi ho. Lekin kaun samjhae ye baat. Waise aapko mujhe poochna hai toh Priyanka Chopra ka poocho, Katrina ka poocho, ye Sunita kaun hai. Maine khud apna naam kamaya hai. Meri pehchaan kisi ki patni ke roop mein nahi di jaati. Toh main Aise logon ke bare mein baat hi nahi karna chahti hu (They speak nonsense about Krushna. Maybe there was no need of him on that episode. But who will tell them that. By the way, you should ask me about Priyanka Chopra or Katrina Kaif. Who is this Sunita? I have made my own name. and am not known as someone's wife. So I do not wish to speak about these people at all),” she said.

Kashmera earlier said the feud began when Govinda and Sunita did not come to see their newborn kids. “Our kids were born last year [June] and they never came to see them in the hospital, not even when one of my kids was fighting for his life,” she had told Hindustan Times in 2018.

In a recent interview, Sunita had said, “I am distressed beyond words to know what Krushna Abhishek said about refusing to be a part of the episode that featured my family and me as guests. He said that both parties did not want to share the stage. Last year in November, Govinda had issued a statement clarifying his stand and vowing to never discuss family issues in public. Like a thorough gentleman, he has kept the promise. I reiterate that we want to maintain a dignified distance, but it has reached a point where I feel the need to address the issue.” 

Krushna and Govinda’s family are not on talking terms and Krushna had once stated that Kashmera was the reason behind the fight. For the uninitiated, Krushna and his wife Kashmera threw a birthday bash in 2018 for their twins in Mumbai. Govinda and his family were conspicuous by their absence once again and this gave rise to speculation that all is not well between the families.

In a recent interview with Times Of India, Krushna said that he has been trying to accommodate the show as well as his upcoming film. While he has usually been able to do so, he decided to not change the dates for this episode.

He said, “For the past 15 days, I have been shuttling between Raipur and Mumbai to shoot for my film and Kapil’s show. I would always go that extra mile to adjust my dates for the show. However, when I learned that they would be appearing as celebrity guests in the upcoming episode, I didn’t want to be a part of it, so I didn’t try to adjust my dates. I believe both parties don’t wish to share a stage.”

Krushna added that he wasn’t sure ‘what statement might blow up’. “Yeh, meri Taraf see hi Hoga Aur Unki Taraf see Bhi Hoga (this will happen from my side and their side as well). Also, it’s a comedy show. Pata nahi kaun si baat lekar badi baat bann jaye aur phir wohi sab hoga ki aisa bol diya, waisa bol diya (You never know which statement might blow up). I didn’t want to create an issue. I am sure that the audience waits in anticipation for my gig when Govinda Ji comes on the show, but I realized that it was better not to perform.”

Kashmera and Krushna first met in Jaipur for their film, Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya. Kashmera had already separated from her husband by then. Since day one, Krushna had a soft corner in his heart for Kashmera and was disheartened to find out that she was married. He was elated when he got to know that she is planning to leave her husband. Krushna was Kashmera's backbone in her troubled time. He was so head-over-heels in love with her that it didn't bother him that she is ten years older than him.

Once Kashmera's divorce was settled, Krushna and Kashmera officially started their relationship. This couple has never been shy about their love for each other. These are two people who are proud of their partner and their love. This landed them in a lot of trouble. For a very long time, their respective families were upset with them. Krushna's uncle, Govinda, didn't talk to him for over a year but everything fell into place eventually.

All was going well when the rumors of Krushna's closeness with actress Tanushree Dutta started doing rounds. This ultimately did have an impact on their relationship. Kashmera even confronted Tanushree when she bumped into her at the airport. All this was happening when Kashmera and Krushna were dancing on the stage of Nach Baliye as a loving couple.

Krushna couldn't make Kashmera understand that he was just friends with Tanushree. To prove to her his level of commitment and love, Krushna proposed to his lady love on the stage of the reality show and she said "yes''.

The couple has been open about their relationship but the same wasn't the case with their wedding. On one occasion, the media spotted Kashmera wearing sindoor. It was in late 2014. It came as a surprise to everyone that the couple had been married to each other since June 2013. This was even before Krushna proposed to Kashmera on Nach Baliye. The couple later revealed that they got married in Las Vegas at the same place where Kashmera and Brad got married. Kashmera shares:
