Directed by Harsh Dedhia and produced by 11:11 Productions, ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend - Season 2’ stars Nakuul Mehta, Anya Singh, Karan Wahi, Sarah-Jane Dias, Jaaved Jaffri, and Nikki Walia among other supporting actors. The 8-episode series will premiere on ZEE5 later this year.

Popular youth television show Remix has turned 17 and boy, we feel old! Some time back, actor Karan Wahi took to his Instagram space and dropped some wonderful pictures from the cast reunion, as well as throwback pictures from the times when the show aired on television screens and they are bound to make you feel nostalgic. For the unversed, Remix was a youth television show about four teenagers and students of Maurya High - Tia (Shweta Gulati), Yuvraj ( Raj Singh Arora), Anvesha (Priya Wal), and Ranveer (Karan Wahi). ‘Remix’ was the name of their music band.

A few moments back today, Karan Wahi took to his Instagram handle and posted a slew of pictures featuring the people involved in the series. The first two pictures are from the reunion, where one can see Karan, Shweta, Raj, and Priya sitting together and smiling at the camera along with the other cast members and the show’s producers, Goldie Behl and Shrishti Arya. The next few photographs were major throwbacks back to the days of the show, where Karan and the other actors can be seen chilling on the sets.

Actors Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani are going to be inside the Bigg Boss house today. It is the final episode of the reality show and one among the five finalists will be declared the winner of the show. The duo Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani is popular for their friendship and are always seen pulling each other’s legs. Hence, having them inside the house will be no less than a fun ride. Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, the country is facing a grim situation. The second wave of Covid-19 led to a spike in cases and as a result, the healthcare sector has been overburdened. In these unprecedented times, the frontline workers have relentlessly worked to help patients fight the deadly virus. Television actor Karan Wahi, who lost two relatives this month, spoke about joining a Covid relief campaign during these trying times.

In a chat with Hindustan Times, Karan opened up about donating to a cause and later becoming a part of the campaign. He explained, “When you experience personal loss, it does take a toll. What’s helping me divert my mind is helping people.” After the actor donated funds for the cause, he joined a campaign called Healing with Humanity, which was started by Rahul Shetty and Paul Marshal. The actor explained the gravity of the situation amid the prolonged pandemic. “If someone privileged like me is reaching a point where I am worried about my next job or how long can I survive on my savings, then there are a lot of people out there, who are really suffering,” the star added.

While the campaign was initially meant to cater to people from the industry, they soon started getting calls from around the country. Speaking about the campaign, the actor expressed his gratitude to all those contributing to the initiative. They have sent out relief packets in multiple cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhuvneshwar, Delhi, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and Mogra in Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Karnataka.

Bigg Boss 14 premiered with a bang two weeks ago. After t, the show is picking pace now, as contestants are finally showing their real personalities. He stated, 'I have a clear thought that Nikki Tamboli will definitely be in the top five of Bigg Boss season 14.' Citing reasons for the same, Karan shared, ' It is a pattern. I feel that Bigg Boss fans love to keep unique characters until the end. In real-time, the things that she does in the house might be right on her part, but she won’t be right for the entire house. But, I think that is what creates interest, and the question is who is wrong but there is no one wrong in this case. I feel the fans of Bigg Boss be supportive of a character like her because they think she is and will be very interesting, and this, in turn, makes the house interesting too.' 

While Karan sees Nikki in the top 5, he feels Rahul Vaidya is a strong player. When asked about his favorite fresher from BB 14, Karan revealed that he knows a few of them like Rahul Vaidya, Pavitra Punia, and Eijaz Khan personally. 'I would pick Rahul Vaidya because I have spoken to him a lot and I feel he will be very interesting. He has this unique thought about him that he carries himself with and what I like about him right now is that he is not going mad or yelling in the house right now. I feel like when somebody is not constantly yelling he is quite soothing to my ears,' said Karan on his favorite BB 14 contestant.

He further went on to sing praises of the singer and lauded his nature. 'I think he is such a goofy guy, and when you are naturally goofy it will help you in the long run as it provides a calming quotient in the house. If I was in the house, I would definitely want someone who can sing like Rahul does so that everyone gets entertained. He enjoys a good popularity among females, which adds as an advantage for him,' opined Karan. 

Ganesh Chaturthi is around the corner and it has sent a wave of festivity and positivity across the nation amid the COVID 19 outbreak. While the pandemic has made the celebrations a somber affair, everyone has been trying to celebrate the holy festival in their own way. In fact, television shows have also been taken over by a festive vibe. Amid this, Rohit Shetty led Khatron Ke Khiladi Made in India and will also be seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi on the sets ahead of the Ticket to Finale task.

Interestingly, Karan Wahi, who is known for making eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganesh every year for Ganesh Chaturthi, manage to keep up with his tradition and was seen making the idol on Khatron Ke Khiladi Made in India sets. The makers even shared a beautiful video wherein in the contestants of this stunt-based reality show were seen preparing for the holy festival. The contestants are gearing up for the ticket to the final task and given the neck-to-neck competition, they certainly need Lord Ganesha’s blessings in the game.

Karan Wahi is undoubtedly one of the most followed and loved actors we have. Be it TV, films, or the web, the actor has proved his mettle everywhere and while discussing the ongoing favoritism and nepotism debate with him, Karan made some valid points. The Hundred actor emphasized that to bring about a change, the audience first needs to reflect and change their perspective. If they don't support actors, nothing will change. 

"I think the debate is only wrong. It is the audience who needs to change their perspective. Why call me inferior to another person just because of the platform we come from. I think the audience needs to reflect on that aspect. If I work on TV, and on the web as well, and even in films then why just call me a TV actor? Call me an actor Na? I am not saying I have a problem with it, I am very proud to start from TV, it has made me what I am today. But, to segregate people based on the platform they work on, and then talk about equal opportunities? We shouldn’t be. Eventually, who is making us a star? The audience. I feel the audience needs to give creditability to everybody and then see the change," he shared. 

Karan also added that while we compare ourselves to the west, there is no one separating actors basis the platform. No one calls Jennifer Aniston a TV actor because she was a part of a popular sitcom. "Today, there might be someone who is more talented than me but hasn’t gotten the opportunity and that is because the audience has loved me more. Humko Kaam Tabhi Milega jab audience supports Karegi. We live in a social media world where there are people who have perhaps done nothing big but are earning more than us, who are these people following them, making them stars? It is the audience. We say that this doesn’t happen abroad, it is because there, an actor is an actor, no one says that ‘oh Jennifer Aniston to Friends ki TV actor hai!’ It is that small a game. These are small things which need to change," he explained. 

Karan Wahi is an Indian actor, model, and television host. Wahi was born on 9 June 1986 in Delhi, India. As of 2020, his age is 34 years old. Wahi was born in the Punjabi Sikh Khatri family in Delhi. He also played for the Delhi Under-17 cricket team. Karan did his schooling at St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School and completed his higher education at the IILM Institute, Delhi University.
