Tuesday blues are a thing, and in case you needed the motivation to kickstart your day on a high note with some rigorous workouts, take cues from television and film actor Hina khan. The star took to her Instagram stories recently to share her work in progress physique. She posted several pictures and videos, giving a glimpse of her routine. And needless to say, we are inspired to hit the grind

Hina khan posted a series of pictures and videos on her Instagram account in which she flaunted her curves and her toned abs. She wore a black sports bra, pink printed tank top, and black track pants with a printed headband for the routine. She tied her hair in a sleeked-back ponytail.

Hina shared the pictures and the video with motivational stickers, each a reminder of the fact that it is never too late to kickstart your fitness journey. In the posts, Hina also flaunted her post-workout glow. Scroll down to see all of them.

Hina Khan, who made a place for herself in our hearts as Akshara Singhania from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has come a long way since her 2009 debut. From shedding her bahu avatar to become of the top fashionistas in the country, the actress is only getting better and better with each passing year.

Post YRKKH,  Hina impressed us with her skills in reality shows like Bigg Boss 11 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and then by playing the villainous Komolika in the reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. In a throwback conversation with Indian Express, Hina Khan got candid about how she landed the role of Akshara Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The Hacked actress said, “I auditioned for it. Actually, I was forcefully sent by my friends to audition. The casting guys reached out to a lot of colleges in Delhi and distributed pamphlets. That’s how my friends got to know me. They came home and told me about it.”

Talking about the actual audition process, Hina Khan said, “At the audition, they made me sit for the entire day. It was a whole long paragraph that I had to learn, and I was not prepared. Maybe they found out something, or they just wanted me to stay. They gave me the entire day from 10 AM to learn those lines and deliver them in one shot. Finally, around six in the evening, I delivered those lines. And the next day, I was in Bombay! So that’s the story of my first project.”

Talking about arriving in Mumbai after her first-ever auditions, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress said it wasn’t easy. She added, “There was a lot of debate going on about how I look. The channel figured that my features are too sharp to play such an innocent girl – Akshara. So we did a lot of look tests which we sent to the channel to see how the character is gonna look and all.”

Hina Khan also added that her first day in the city of dreams involved many big names. She said, “I’d seen them in many different shows on television, so I was very nervous, but they were very supportive. They made it easy for me.” We are super happy your friends forced you to attend it, Hina, for we doubt anyone else could have played it as you did for all those years.

Now Hina Khan has taken to social media and urged them to stay strong. In a tweet, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress stated that Sidharth'sfans were his pride and strength and that he is smiling at them from the other side. Hina wrote, “I am so sorry, I am so sorry, I am so so so so sorry dear SidHearts. I am sending you all my love strength and Prayers. Plzzzz stays strong Guys.. you were his strength, his army, his pride. He will always smile at his SidHearts from the other side. Duas”

Meanwhile, Hina had also penned a heartfelt note remembering the Dil Se Dil Tak actor. She wrote, “We think we got to know Life a little better after our sweet or sour experiences. But Life has a way to come out as the most unpredictable entity ever. In this continuous understanding, I pay my sincerest heartfelt condolences to Sidharth’s family. Prayers for peace for all of you! After the past experiences of eternal loss. I am scared shaken and disturbed by the heartbreaking news of my dear friend's passing. I am a Lil unwell and not in the right frame of mind and still coping with this news just like all of you out there”.

The response has been amazing. An hour after the promo came out, I had to put my phone on silent because it was buzzing so much! I just couldn’t handle so many messages… my Twitter was on fire. I slept for two-three hours and when I woke up, my social media was completely clogged.

Ekta (Kapoor, the show’s producer) really teased the audience and made them wait for Komolika… ‘Who will play the part?’ almost become the hottest question in the nation. And so when I was finally revealed, it was a tsunami of sorts! (Laughs) I think for the first time on Indian television, a character has been introduced through a teaser promo that ran for over two weeks. I feel really lucky that this has already become so big. I haven’t yet started shooting… this is just a glimpse of what the character’s about… and see what’s happening!

I did! I did! But I had no clue it would be so big. Even Ekta was surprised. The teaser hit 2.5 million views in two days. People are making Musical.ly videos; there are even tutorials online on how to get Komolika’s make-up. The nose pin has already become famous. And at the cost of repeating myself, I have to say that all this has happened even before I started shooting for the show. It’s unbelievable!

Of course, it does! There are a lot of expectations. When Ekta posted the teaser on social media, the first thing I said was, ‘I’m nervous as hell’. I was shivering when all the comments started pouring in because I realized the magnitude of the responsibility I have. My performance definitely counts, but what’s a big relief is that the story is so strong that the reboot of Kasautii already has a lot of fans. I have taken a big risk with this role, but I know Ekta has a lot of confidence in me. She always tells me, ‘Hina, you will kill it!’

What gives me confidence is that a strong character will always click with the audience, no matter what. And negative characters, if done well, always have an impact — look at Gabbar (in Sholay) or Cersei (in Game of Thrones).

Urvashi’s Komolika had more Adaa. The essence — latkas, jhatkas, nakshatras — are all there, but this Komolika is very different. She’s a very sharp, smart, intelligent girl. Ekta had told me that the reference for the old Komolika was Rekha. Today, Komolika’s reference is Priyanka Chopra. My Komolika doesn’t have a fixed look; she’s a chameleon-like character. I am excited about that because it gives me the opportunity to explore so many different sides of the actor in me. When I was Akshara (in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai), I was told, ‘Tum Akshara ho… tum yeh nahin kar sakti, tum woh nahin kar sakti’. This is a very challenging role for me and I want to request the audience to please give me that space and time so that I can justify Ekta’s trust in me and prove that I can be Komolika.

People don’t call me Akshara now… they call me Hina Khan. After Bigg Boss and Khatron (Ke Khiladi), I have carved my own identity. If I had taken up another daily soap after Yeh Rishta, I would have ended up as another Akshara. These two reality shows have been a huge blessing. They also gave me the confidence to be myself and not just a TV character. After Bigg Boss, the way people perceived me completely changed. I was considered a fashionista, I won so many awards, and I walked for Lakme Fashion Week.

I played Akshara for eight years and I wanted to leave her behind. That happened because I kept showing different facets of my talent and personality to the audience. The word ‘stereotype’ doesn’t exist for me.

After playing a negative lead like Komolika, I will make sure I take up a positive lead in my next show and make people cry as I did with Akshara. Besides Komolika, I am also doing a short film and another project, which I can’t talk much about, but it’s not on TV. So I am mixing things up.

Honestly, I have reached a stage in my life and career where I want everything to be according to my convenience. Main Achha Kaam Karna Chahta hoon, Kekin Mujhe Apne personal life Ke Liye Bhi space Chahiye.

I think social media is a great way to stay connected, provided you can filter out the negativity. I am lucky that I have more positive followers than negative and I don’t pay much attention to trolls because what can you do anyway? They are faceless! They are psychopaths; normal people can’t behave the way these trolls do. So they are best ignored. Attention means encouragement.

I wasn’t very social media-friendly, but now I enjoy posting pictures, especially Insta stories. My fans do a lot for me; on my birthday, they filled my house with flowers, balloons, and gifts. I have got a whole new lot of fans after Bigg Boss, most of whom are youngsters. They look up to me and I don’t want to disappoint them in any way. That’s why I take out time to do Facebook and Instagram ‘live’ with my fans at least once a month. The least I can do is give them 15 minutes of my life when they have given me their whole life.
