Sharing Devoleena's first look from the film, Lakshmi R Iyer took to her Instagram handle and wrote, "Casting for Vaidehi was a challenge someone to match beautiful @renukash710 mama's magic and aura. I am so glad @devoleena I found you and you came on board for this beautiful character the grace the poise the beauty of my Vaidehi you bring it all alive in every frame. Can't wait to present the First Second Chance…teaser to be out on 25th May at 11 am." Devoleena also commented on Lakshmi's post and wrote, "Thank you @iyer_lakshmi for the opportunity, and it's my honor to justify the character."

Earlier, Devoleena had expressed her joy in playing Vaidehi's role, she said, "I'm playing the role of Vaidehi. I hope my audience enjoys watching me as it's a completely different role from what I acted before. I'm really delighted to be part of this project."

First Second Chance is a love story and is inspired by real life. It narrates the scenario of having a second chance in a relationship. The film also stars Ananth Mahadevan, Saahil Uppal, and Nikhil Sangha.

Bigg Boss 15 has been one of the most popular and entertaining seasons of the reality show. The grand finale of the season was held on the 29th and 30th of January, in which Tejasswi Prakash was declared the winner of the show. The season was popular for numerous reasons one of them being the various emotions of the contestants were showcased like love, friendship, anger, etc. The contestants were seen being more aggressive in this season and numerous fights happened in the house. Bigg Boss 15 is just a few days away from its grand finale and this ongoing season has witnessed some ugly fights and difficult tasks as well. Amid this, the eliminations also add a new twist to the game. Recently, Devoleena Bhattacharjee was evicted from Bigg Boss 15 ahead of the finale week and it did leave her fans heartbroken. And while she is out of the BB house, the actress has now made a big revelation that she will be undergoing surgery this week due to an injury sustained during one of the tasks on the show.

Devoleena made the revelation during a live session on social media wherein she stated that her health is serious and that she will get hospitalized on Thursday. For the uninitiated, the Saath Nibhana Sathiyaa actress was injured during the pole task. Talking about it, Devoleena said, “Despite all the obstacles and difficulties, the contestants of the popular reality show have been trying to give their best. I will fight this but am tense about it. It's just that I need your prayers. Time kharab chal raha hai but is mein bhi kuch acha hi hoga mera. She also emphasized that it is a nerve decompression surgery and it is serious”.

Interestingly, Devoleena had grabbed a lot of attention for her growing proximity with Pratik Sehajpal. She also went on to speak about her journey on Bigg Boss 15 and said, “My journey was better in BB 15 than season 13 or 14. It feels complete now. I was unsure before going. I am glad the makers convinced me. Lots of things happened in BB 15 that I did not imagine. But I enjoyed every bit. I stayed the way I am in life”.

The upcoming episode of the reality shows Bigg Boss 15 will bring a major shock for the contestants as Bigg Boss will be announcing double eviction. The eviction will take two contestants out of the race to the finale at the start of the finale week. Rashami Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, and Abhijit Bichukale will be seen standing on the podium as the names of the eliminated contestants will be declared. 

Bigg Boss will announce that the journeys of two contestants will come to an end. Rashami Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, and Abhijit Bichukale are the three contestants, who did not get the Ticket to Finale. Due to this, they get nominated.

In the upcoming episode, Bigg Boss wakes up contestants from their sleep and makes the three contestants stand on a podium. Rajiv Adatia is asked to press a buzzer, which creates fireworks around the nominated contestants. Tension is at its peak as Bigg Boss declares that two contestants will get evicted just a week before the finale.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee is an Indian trained Bharatanatyam dancer and a TV Actress also known for portraying Gopi Modi in the Star Plus drama series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. In the year 2019, Devoleena joined Bigg Boss Season 13 as a contestant. In the year 2020, Bhattacharjee reprised her character as Gopi Modi to promote the show in the drama soap-opera Saath Nibhaana Saathiya (released on 3 May 2010).

Devoleena was born on 22 August 1990, in Sivasagar, Assam, India. The actress did her schooling at Godhula Brown Memorial English High School in Sivasagar, Assam, India, and got her early education from the National Institute of Fashion and Technology in New Delhi, India.

Initially, Bhattacharjee worked as a jewelry designer in Gili India Ltd. in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Devoleena is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and an actress. Bhattacharjee was 1st noticed when Bhattacharjee auditioned for the dance reality show Dance India Dance 2. Devoleena’s acting debut was in NDTV Imagine’s Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto (released on 4 July 2011) as Bani. Devoleena was cast as Gopi Modi, a lead part in the Star Plus drama Saath Nibhaana Saathiya after Giaa Manek, who previously played the part, was ousted from the series, In June 2012.

In the year 2014 and again in the year 2016, the actress contemplated leaving the show due to the frequent time leaps, but Bhattacharjee remained to be a part of the show and in June 2017, Devoleena finished 5 years. In the same month, Bhattacharjee underwent a spinal operation for an injury that took place on the show’s set in the year 2013. The series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya ended on 23 July 2017. Devoleena joined as a celebrity contestant in the thirteenth season of the reality TV show Bigg Boss, In the year 2019. Bhattacharjee exited the show owing to medical issues, In November 2019.

In October 2020, Devoleena joined the cast of the second season of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya for her character of Gopi Modi, and Devoleena quit in November. In the year 2012, she acted in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, and Teri Meri Love Stories. Devoleena performed as Gopi in the tv soap-opera Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, in the year 2013. In the year 2014, she performed in Comedy Classes.
