Bollywood's every big project now, especially starring star kids, is keenly being watched by movie buffs, netizens, and SSR Army. Needless to say, many have faced the wrath amid the raging debate of nepotism. And the most recent film to find itself in the middle of such a controversy is Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2. After raking a record number of dislikes for its trailer, netizens are now criticizing the makers for not releasing a song by Arijit Singh from the film.

As per reports, Arijit Singh sang two songs for the upcoming romantic thriller but neither of those songs is making it into the soundtrack of Sadak 2. Thus began a trend on Twitter #ReleaseArijitSongFromSadak2. While fans slammed the makers yet again and demanded Arijit's songs to be released, music composer and singer Amaal Mallik also joined this crusade.

Taking to Twitter, Amaal wrote, "I think the song deserves to at least get a release! Constantly hurting the fans will lead to nothing but just more disbelief in the music industry. At least put out the version if you can.

Did you just log into Twitter and noticed Arijit Singh trending? No, no, he hasn't released a new song. Nor has the Channa Mereya singer sat down for a new interview. Arijit is trending on Twitter due to his and K-Pop singer Eric Nam's fans. The international singer is a popular name among K-Pop music lovers. The singer has crooned numerous songs. This includes Congratulations, Love Die Young, and Cave Me In. The 31-year-old star decided to reach out to his fans in India seeking some music recommendations.

"aight I need some tips from #NamNation in #India - who are some of your favorite Indian singers and performers," he tweeted to his 1.1 million followers earlier today. It has hardly been six hours, at the time of reporting, since the tweet was posted. It already invited almost one and a half thousand responses.

Numerous musicians were suggested to the singer. From AR Rahman, Benny Dayal, Amit Trivedi to Mohit Chauhan, and even Ayushmann Khurrana's names popped up. However, a majority of the responses had one common name: Arijit Singh. Fans begged the singer to give Arijit's songs a shot. Some even gave YouTube links to make his life easy.

Arijit Singh is ruling hearts for the past few years because of his beautiful songs. People are in love with his husky and honeyed voice. With every new song, the talented singer proves his versatility. Be it a love song, a heartbreak song, or a dance number, Arijit Singh puts in his best efforts and the song becomes a hit. The singer has some beautiful Hindi songs to his credit like Tum Hi Ho, Phir Le Aaya Dil, Laal Ishq, Saware, Sajde, Agar Tum Saath Ho, Channa Mereya, Kabira, and many others.
The Raabta singer attended the 49th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2018 last night in Goa. The singer attended the film festival for the screening of his directorial debut 'Sa'. As reported by PTI, during the opening ceremony, the host of the evening actor Amit Sadh asked Arijit how he manages to bring so much love and intensity to his song. The singer reacted by asking, "Is that a question?"
Coming to IFFI 2018, the opening ceremony was attended by Bollywood personalities like Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and Prasoon Joshi. It was also graced by dignitaries like Union minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Goa Governor Mridula Sinha.
Sona Mohapatra is not only known for her bold voice but also for her fearless attitude. The singer has always been vocal about her thoughts. Sona has never shied away from calling out big names and this time, it's Arijit Singh. In an interview with a leading daily, she said that she has walked out of studios as she didn't want to sing just the closing lines.
Sona told the daily, "I have been called up for such songs and I have walked out of studios because I don’t want to sing a song where a Mukhra-Antara, much-Antara is Arijit and I sing the last four lines. It is almost like a man wants to make love to himself in a song. Even in a romantic duet, if the female gets a part only in the end, it is very bizarre and this is in a country where we couldn’t put out a soundtrack without a (Lata) Mangeshkar voice."
"As an audience, we always had evolved taste but right now the industry is in a very regressive state. Recently, someone did extensive research and analysis and came up with an article which reveals that out of 10, every 8 songs have a male voice and the solos are even lesser," she added.
Every artist has his or her own share of struggles to reach a position in this competitive industry. Talking about her hardships, she said, "For all those years of thinking why aren't there more opportunities, I think I have found fantastic allies like Aamir Khan. I don’t have to have everyone on my side. I happened to find someone like Ram Sampath (composer) who has been with me for the longest time and we live in a time where we don’t have to suck up to people and wait for that one big break."

"I would rather sing Mujhe Kya Bechega Ruppaiyya which had a wide cultural impact rather than sing hundreds of love songs. I have a Naina, I have an Ambarsariya but it is okay if I don’t get 50 of those. I have never been just a singer. I consider myself a much superior performing artist," added the singer.
