He is a family friend and a low-key guy, who prefers staying away from social media and showbiz. Interestingly, it is an arranged marriage turned into love”. The wedding is set to take place at New Delhi’s Andaz Hotel, Aerocity. The guest list will be limited to close family members and friends.

Amid this, Anjum Fakih, who is seen playing the role of Srishti in Kundali Bhagya, has shared her plans for the holy festival. Speaking exclusively to Pinkvilla, Anjum recalled her childhood memories of Eid and how it used to be a day filled with jovial moments.
She said, “Bakri Eid is usually a grand family affair. Like all the other festivities, it’s a day when the entire family comes together to celebrate and have a good time. We usually cook a delicious meal at home and all the cousins and family members come over to celebrate with us. As a young girl, I really enjoyed celebrating Eid and I very distinctly remember the time when I used to dress up in one of my finest outfits to welcome my cousins home. Everyone would come together, and it would be such a light and jovial moment for all of us. This time however the celebrations will be slightly low-key considering we are still in the midst of a pandemic. But we do plan to cook the special Eid delicacies at home and spend some quality time amongst ourselves.”

However, when I got into the groove, I kind of vibed more with Srishti’s character and realized that we have a very similar personality. I was very sure that I would be able to add my own Tadka to the role and make it more interesting. I believe even the makers felt that because after the auditions I was straight away called for Srishti’s character. I think somewhere in their head too, they were convinced that I was the perfect fit for the role! In fact, it was Ekta’s idea to cast me as Srishti”.
“To be honest, I always wanted to essay Srishti’s character after the auditions, simply because I see Anjum’s reflection in her. She is impulsive, innocent, and head-strong, unlike Preeta’s character who is calm and composed. I feel I am content portraying Srishti’s character because there is so much to give to the character and so much more to learn from it too. I am just glad that everything fell in place, the way it was meant to be,” Anjum further added.

Sherlyn informs Prithvi that the Luthra family is trying to create trouble in the marriage and the entire family was against the marriage. Prithvi gets upset when Sherlyn learns that Prithvi wanted to marry Preeta which makes her jealous. She goes away in anger telling Prithvi that he was right and that she should marry Rishabh as he was a gentleman. Prithvi tells her not to think the way she is and notes to himself that he wants both Sherlyn and Preeta.
Here Monisha tells her cousins how the decoration was down market and that Shristi had done the work just like she was – down market whichKaranover hears and tells Monisha how Shristi had disagreed to the decoration and that famous decorator were called to do the decorations. Monisha tells Karan how she doesn’t like the way Karan talks to her and that she doesn’t want Karan to ask her so many questions as Monisha wanted a henpecked husband in Karan.
Here, Billa escapes the jail and disguised himself as one of the musicians who came to perform, and reaches the Luthra house to teach Prithvi a lesson. Sherlyn joins the entire family where everyone bitches about Monishasecretely. Pandit Ji invites Karan to sit beside Monisha in the wedding proceedings which he obeys half-heartedly. Meanwhile, Billa enters just when police officers enter and inform everyone that Billa has reached the venue. The police officer tells everyone to look for Billa and that he should be arrested alive or dead, but he has to be arrested in all conditions. Billa decides to kill Prithvi before he is arrested.
Monisha puts up an act and requests Karan’s mother to make Monisha wear the Chuda. She gives in to Monisha’s demand and the function gets over. Monisha further requests Preeta to make her wear the Kalira with the intention to trouble everyone. Just when Preeta was tying the Kalira on Monisha’s Chuda Sophie enters and tells that this marriage cannot continue further which shocks everyone.
Monisha is seen asking Karan if he doesn’t see anything in Preeta’s eyes for him as she can clearly see that Karan is Preeta’s life. Sammy rejoices that Monisha after getting married to Karan will get busy and will no more interfere between him and his love for Preeta. Kritika sends Monisha towards the corridor where Srishti is waiting to take revenge on Monisha for insulting Preeta before. Monisha sees Preeta there and bumps into her intentionally and stamps on Preeta’s feet.
Shrishti comes there that very moment and gives a tit for tat to Monisha. Monisha says right now she is only thinking but she challenges Preeta to stop her if she can when she does evil if she can. On the other hand, Karan has seen being explained by his dad that he shouldn’t get married to anyone for the heck of it and that Karan should be sure of the girl as the whole family is involved in whatever his decision will be. Karan gets a flashback of Shristi when she was complaining about how Monisha had insulted Preeta at the Haldi function, and Preeta was telling her not to marry Monisha.
Karan realizes that Monisha isn’t the right girl for him and he gets scared that Monisha will make him her puppet-like Monisha’s mom keeps her dad. Karan gets scared as breaking the marriage won’t be easy as Monisha threatens Karan that she will reveal the truth about Rishabh. Rishabh assures Karan that there’s no need to be worried about anything when the right decision has been taken. He also assures Karan that everything will be as per plan and that they will be able to get rid of this marriage safely. He asks everyone to think of an idea that will resolve everything. Preeta smiles at Karan for taking a wise decision and Karan is satisfied with his change of mind.
Preeta is seen as tense as she has to make a plan to help Karan to come out of his marriage. Preeta swears that she will not let Karan get trapped in Monisha’seveil plans and will do everything possible to save him. On the other hand, Monisha swears that she’ll come as a curse in Karan’s life as a part of revenge for Ritwik’s death.
In today’s episode, Preeta confesses that she isn’t feeling good about Karan getting married to Monisha and Karan pulls her close and asks Preeta why doesn’t she want Karan to marry Monisha. The conversation gets interrupted when Sammy comes looking for Preeta and she runs away from there. Janki overhears the whole conversation. Shristi meanwhile tells Kritika that she has full faith in Karan’s idea and that the idea will definitely work. Shristi calls Preeta into the room and instructs everyone along with Rishabh that they can kidnap the bride as there’ll be no wedding if the bride is not there, to which everyone ridicules and overrules it. Then she declares she has another plan which they agree on gladly.
The Haldi ceremony begins and everyone is seen upset with Karan who is been told that he still has time on hand to change his decision. After Karan’s Haldi function gets over Rishabh is seen mocking Karan saying Karan is attempting suicide by marrying Mohisha. Monisha announces that Preeta will start with her Haldi function by putting Haldi on her first. Monisha insults Preeta by asking her mom to give her the shotgun that their servants get in return for the Haldi that Monisha dint let Preeta put. Shriti feels bad for what Monisha said and rubs the Haldi all over her face congratulating her sarcastically. The entire family witnesses it and gets upset at Monisha’s behavior.
Christi is seen complaining about the whole thing to Rishabh in front of Karan and he gets angry. Karan is seen going towards Monisha in anger to confront them about what she has just done with Preeta. Shristi gets happy knowing Karan went to take Monisha’s class. Karan warns Monisha that Preeta is her special friend and no one can dare to insult her in any manner.
In the previous episode, we saw how Sherlyn and Rishabh lay asleep after consuming the adulterated Thandai. Preeta loses Sherlyn, who was in Rishabh’s room and lay asleep according to Sherlyn and Prithvi’s plan. Here, Prithvi finds Preeta and tries to forcefully kiss her. Preeta gets furious and slaps Prithvi. Prithvi covers up for his actions by blaming the adulterated drink, to be the reason behind his unethical behavior. Later, Karan finds a crying Preeta and demands to know the reason behind her tears.
Preeta trying to hide Prithvi’s ill behavior from Karan tells him that she was feeling bad for getting Rishabh in trouble. Preeta told Karan how she holds herself responsible for setting up Sherlyn with Rishabh who was an unfit match for Rishabh. Here, Prithvi finds Sherlyn and Rishabh in his room and sets them, to look like they got involved physically. Seeing the entire family enjoy, Prithvi announces that there was a fire in the corridor. Karan, Preeta, and Shristi rush towards the corridor and lash out at Prithvi for making a mountain out of a molehill.
Karan blamed Prithvi for possibly being the reason behind the short circuit as he could have easily put off the fire instead of scaring everyone. Prithvi and Karan get involved in an argument where Karan blames Prithvi for not being man enough to be able to put off a small fire. Prithvi looked at Preeta for aid but she kept quiet, letting Prithvi and Karan deal themselves. Later, Preeta’s doctor friend mocks Preeta for marrying Prithvi as she found him to be an unfit match for Preeta.
