Wedding fever is on! On Saturday, February 5, Television’s favorite actress Karishma Tanna got hitched to the love of her life, Varun Grover. The two hosted an intimate ceremony which was attended by their close friends and family. The two looked absolutely stunning and ethereal on their special day and stole all our hearts with their gorgeous attires. Karishma looked nothing less than a fairytale bride in her pastel pink lehenga and Varun looked like an Indian prince in a white sherwani. Karishma's close friends from the industry, Anita Hassanandani, Ridhima Pandit, Harleen Sethi, and Ekta Kapoor attended her wedding. Anita posted numerous shots of the day and shared them with her Instagram family. In one picture, she could be seen posing with the newlyweds. She also posted a few pictures of the girl gang that included Ekta Kapoor, Ridhima Pandit, and Harleen Sethi. Fashion designer Ashley Rebello too posted a sweet selfie with the new bride.

Karishma Tanna is quite a popular name in the Television industry. She has worked in several daily soaps including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Naagin, and Baalveer among others. She had also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss season 8 and emerged as runner-up. On the other hand, Varun works with VB Corp and has been associated with the company since 2010.

She had hosted a lovely housewarming party, which was attended by her friends including Ekta Kapoor, Anita Hassanandani, Ridhi Dogra, Mushtaq Shiekh, and others who visited her home. 

Post her birthday party, her friends shared pictures from the housewarming party on social media. Ekta Kapoor shared pictures of themselves having a gala time, a delicious-looking cake with a 'Home Sweet Home' badge, and wall hangings with inspiring words written on them. Ekta captioned the post: "To my darling @krystledsouza ur home is like u! Beautiful individualistic and welcoming! Love ."

Mushtaq Shiekh gave a tour of the house to Krystle's fans and lauded her for making it big in life. He wrote: “To make your own nest and to do so all alone with your hard work & tenacity is an undeniable badge of pride that can be worn forever. What a beautiful house this girl Krystal has made. The house has a vibrant ambiance of the house with a spacious living room, a balcony with chairs to relax and take in the fresh air, shelves decorated with books, photographs, and awards, sofa, and positive messages everywhere.

Anita Hassanandani revealed she battled depression during her initial days in the television industry. Taking to Instagram, the actor said that she was affected by her failures during the start of her career and it was none other than producer Ekta Kapoor who helped her out of it. 

Taking to her official social media handle, Anita wrote, “Ekta!!! You are a prototype of every strong female character you ever created. You are a true friend and an incredibly strong-willed woman. All these years of friendship have culminated into an indispensable relationship, the one where we could do anything for each other with no questions asked. I remember those days when I was young, hungry for work but clueless about everything. I was bitterly affected by my early failures but then you came into my life. You not only helped me fight depression but also gave me a new start. That's one of the millions of things I have learned from you, to never give up. That's why even on rough days, I feel secure because of you my guardian angel. You are in every sense of the world, my life's Niyati.” She added, “Calling Ekta a friend is an understatement. She is a part of my family and she is my Niyati.” 

Anita shared the note on the same day Ekta Kapoor was honored with the Padma Shri award at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Anita also wrote a heartfelt note for Rohit and said, “Rohit! My dashing, adorable and loving husband, with the cutest dimple well, and now a super dad too! I have been at my best and worst with him, but Rohit has held my hands through every trial and tribulation. We have shared so many happy moments that have been etched in my heart forever. Rohit has been the invisible support I have leaned on ever since I fell in love with him, and I know I have him by my side, always! Rohit is a special person who has brought untold happiness into my life, just like Niyati.”
