Bigg Boss 15 contestants Akasa Singh and Pratik Sehajpal recently collaborated for their new song ‘Saamna’, which the singer informs were made in 2018. “We were all obsessed with the audio. I believe in destiny and Pratik was meant to be part of this special song. Our friendship is exactly like ‘Saamna’ – genuine and heartfelt. A lot of people, well-wishers, and fans, wished for us to get together for a music video and I am glad we could,” shares Akasa. 

Further reacting to their dating rumors, Akasa states, “Everyone wanted us to date but these rumors are something we laugh off as we are just friends. We were always “shipped” together as #Prakasa - with fans, and also within the Bigg Boss house. I have always said, Bigg Boss is very different from the real world. It’s definitely not the exact same. The two of us will always know that whatever’s said and done, we will always have each other’s back and wish well for each other.”

Akasa says that whenever she and Pratik meet, they pick up right from where they had left off. “My equation with him has been great! The two of us are very work-minded and always look forward to working. Especially, he has been so busy with so many projects and that’s what he wanted to do. I am so proud and happy that he is getting to do what he dreamed of. After Bigg Boss, Pratik and I weren’t able to meet until we went for the ‘Saamna’ rehearsal. As soon as we met, we went back to the Tom and Jerry friendship that we have. We bicker so much that our director had to literally say ‘Inn Dono ki mummy ko pulao, main tanning aa Chuka hoon inset, and it was adorable,” she laughs. 

Akasa had recently even collaborated with Bigg Boss 15’s Karan Kundrra on the song ‘Kamle’. “I am getting offers to do a music video with a couple of more people. A few people have approached me for projects with Simba (Nagpal) and  Umar (Riaz) as well. I am someone who likes working and also someone who maintains great friendships with everyone. If the project is good, I wouldn’t say no to a good project,” she signs off. 

Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 15 contestants Sehajpal and Akasa Singh recently collaborated on the song ‘Saamna’. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Pratik informs that Akasa, director Ashwin Mani, and Sony Music had conceptualized the track even before he had stepped out of the BB house. “There were so many things taking place simultaneously, but like they say patience always bears fruit. It was really amazing, and I had a great time shooting with all of them for Saamna,” says the actor.

Pratik also reacts to his dating rumors with Akasa. “We have never dated and have both been completely honest about it. We are good friends and have maintained that friendship even after the show. Therefore, we have always denied such rumors and that’s what the truth is. We have always supported each other and will continue to do so,” he states, further talking about their equation outside the Bigg Boss 15 house. 

“I didn’t know to what extent we will be in touch post the Bigg Boss stint as I had spent a lot of time inside the house without Akasa being around. When we met outside, I wasn’t sure how the equation would be. But we were exactly like how we were inside the house and that’s what real friendship is all about,” Pratik states. 

Meanwhile, how has life changed for him after doing the reality show? “I think after stepping out of the Bigg Boss house my life has changed in so many ways. I am so grateful and thankful to Bigg Boss, God, my family, and close friends who have really supported me throughout. My life has completely changed as people have supported me while I was in there and supported me after I came out. As much as it’s a blessing, also sometimes you feel that there are so many things that took place for which you need to really be stable and focussed mentally. Thankfully, God has always been there with me,” says Pratik.

He further adds, “I am genuinely very thankful and grateful to the entire Pratik fam who literally gave me so much love, and audiences of Bigg Boss and even to those who do not watch the show but know me now. I am genuinely grateful and now I am working even hard. I have not let that success get to my head. I am in fact doing much more than what I used to. Now there are even more sleepless nights, more days without food and sleep and I think that’s okay as that’s what I love, and I am totally enjoying every moment of my life right now.”  

Akasa's latest single 'Kamle' is with Yasser Desai. The romantic track celebrates the union of two best friends and 'Kamle' Jodi, Akasa, and Karan, who pledge to be for each other through thick and thin. Sony Music Entertainment India announced the release of the number on Tuesday.

Karan, who plays the male leading the music video, says, "This romantic track has been a great collaboration with Sony Music and the best part is it's alongside my close friend, Akasa. We share a special bond and viewers will get to see the chemistry that we have portrayed on screen. The song brought back so many memories and it was magical to shoot such a lovely number with Akasa."

The lyrics are penned by Seema Saini and the soulful composition by Shantanu Dutta beautifully expresses the emotion of being in love and celebrating love.

Talking about the launch of the song, Akasa mentions: "Celebrating all things love, I'm excited to see my single Kamle finally out. It's a song that's really close to my heart, and the feeling for me is very special as I have not only sung the track but I have also featured in the video with one of my closest friends, Karan Kundrra.

She added: "Our friendship is the inspiration behind the couple's bond in the video. Being on set with him felt less like work, and more like two friends hanging out and having fun. I'm elated to see such a huge response from fans to the song even before its launch. Everyone seems to be loving our looks and our chemistry together. I am really hoping that they love Kamle and dedicate this track to their partner."

The track features the vocals of Akasa and Yasser Desai, whose beautiful duet breathes life into the song.

Singer Yasser adds, "'Kamle' is not just a love song, it also represents the emotions and feelings involved in a marriage ceremony for any family. It's been a beautiful experience being part of this melodious track and, I hope listeners will enjoy this song."

The music video is produced by The Good Guns Motion Pictures and directed by  Ashwin Mani. Adding to the fun and frolic in the Shaadi choreography and the hook step adds more glitter to this sparkling video. The video encapsulates the heartfelt moments between the bride (Akasa) and groom (Karan) whose relationship stands on a strong foundation of friendship.

During the Diwali weekend, the contestants were faced with numerous surprises and shocks. The contestants received a major blow with the sudden elimination of Akasa Singh at the start of the week. With one elimination done, everyone was sure about no further elimination for the weekend. But they again got shocked by the elimination of  Miesha Iyer from the show. We conducted a poll yesterday to get the opinion of our audience about these two eliminations. The result has been declared and the audience has stood by the fairness in the elimination. 

As per the poll results, the voters are nearly equal and one of the options has become heavier by only digits. We had asked in the poll, ‘Was Miesha Iyer and Akasa Singh’s eviction fair?” The audience has clearly stated their choice that they find the elimination fair. The audience has stated 59 percent for yes. They feel these two were not among the strongest contestants of the Bigg Boss 15 house. A large number of people also came in support of  Akasa Singh and Miesha as they found the elimination unfair. They included 41 percent of the votes. 

With two eliminations in the previous week, there were also two wild card entries in the house, namely Shamita Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat. Shamita Shetty was over the moon to meet the love of her life after a lot of time. Now in the recent promos of the show, there has been a declaration of a VIP Zone in the house. As per reports, only the contestants in the VIP zone will be eligible to compete for the winning trophy.

Singer Akasa Singh was the latest contestant to be evicted from the popular reality show Bigg Boss 15. Last week, the contestants nominated for elimination were  Simba Nagpal, Vishal Kotian and Akasa Singh. On the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Akasa was eliminated from the Salman Khan-fronted show because of receiving the least votes among the three viewers. Akasa, who was in the Bigg Boss House for almost a month, recently spoke to a leading news portal and opened up about her opinions of other housemates, including Vishal, Nishant, Miesha, and Tejasswi. She also expressed that she is unhappy with her eviction.   

In a recent chat with ETimes TV, Akasa said, "Vishal (Kotian) Bhai, Nishant Bhat are manipulative people. I don’t know if Karan (Kundrra) is manipulative so I won’t put him on the list, because I have a bond with him. But I want to see the episodes first and then decide. Miesha Iyer also manipulates a lot and I have seen that. Tejasswi Parkash, on the other hand, I feel is a shrewd player. I've realized it," she said.

Akasa further shared that she is disappointed with her eviction. However, she is glad that she stood her ground and did not let go of her values and morals on the show. She said, "I was expecting it but I am really disappointed that it happened this week. I feel my contribution was much more and I was slowly opening up. I was creating a strong bond. My journey on the show became better after two weeks as I found people who I could connect with. I had a very strong bond with them and am sure I will be friends with them even post the show. One thing I am glad about is that I stood my ground and upheld my values and my morals. I didn’t do anything, not even once which I have to regret. I am happy that I came out in a dignified manner. But I am unhappy that I am out," she shared.

Akasa Singh recently got eliminated from Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 15. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, the singer-songwriter said that at the beginning of the show, she was a little lost. “I have never been in some situations that I was in. I definitely did this show to get out of my comfort zone, but what happened was that I let my emotions get the better of me. You know, I could not get over the fact that people could just play with you for the heck of it. There were a bunch of things, and I sort of went into a shell because I was hurt,” informs Akasa. 

She also opened up about her equation with her co-contestant Pratik Sehajpal. “The biggest misunderstanding was, ‘oh she is just hanging out with him to be seen’, or ‘she is just using that bond’. If I had to use bonds, I would use them with everyone or would be seen with a lot more people. In the house, I literally was considered a misfit, because they were like, ‘when all of us are not supporting Pratik, why do you have to?’ But it's because I genuinely felt comfortable with him, and I felt that he was there for me and stood up for me when it was not even required, and no one else did too. I felt I could really be myself, and my carefree and bubbly self came out with him. We genuinely cared a lot for each other, and grew very close on the show as we spent so much time together,” says Akasa.

Though she adds that there were times she felt that Afsana Khan was faking a friendship with her. “When we called each other sisters, I really considered her that. But then she would go out and do something, that would be the opposite of what you would do for a sister. So I felt like sometimes she was faking it. But I would like to see the game more because fake is a very strong word. A lot of people manipulate their feelings and words according to the situation. But after watching the show now, I’ll gradually know who is truly faking it,” states Akasa. 

Meanwhile, Diwali is around the corner. How is she going to celebrate the festival? “I first need to get back to reality. My mind and my heart are still in the Bigg Boss 15 house. But I am very excited. I haven't really spoken to any of my friends yet, as I feel like I need to put my thoughts together and get a little out of this zone. I don’t play cards or do a lot of partying, but I am ready to dress up and catch up with friends,” Akasa signs off
