Aditya has now shared a statement in which he has clarified about having no connection with the aforementioned case.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, which has been one of the most heartbreaking news of the year, has opened a can of worms and has instigated several speculations over what transpired with him. In fact, there have been reports linking Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray to Sushant’s unfortunate death. The media reports suggested that Aditya was present at a party at the late actor’s residence a night before he took the drastic step. And now, days after the speculations surfaced against the young politician, Aditya has released a sharp statement over the matter.
The young Shiv Sena leader has clarified that he has no connection with the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story actor’s demise. Aditya shared the statement in Marathi and slammed the personal remarks made against him and his family. “People are doing mud-slinging on me personally and members of the Thackeray family... I have no connection with #SushantSinghRajput's death in any manner. This is politics over someone's death,” he said in the statement.
Meanwhile, Sushant’s case has been coming up with new twists by the day. While his family has filed an FIR against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty accusing her of abetment to suicide along with exploiting him financially, his friends have asserted that the late actor can never take such a drastic step in life. Besides, Sushant’s former assistant has claimed that the actor had changed post his Europe trip with Rhea last year.

His love for martial arts is also well-known and the actor has managed to instill it in his kids as well. To take his love for fitness and martial arts forward, the actor recently joined hands with Yuva Sena Chief Aditya Thackeray. The duo was spotted in Mumbai's Thane on Saturday morning at a self-defense training camp for girls.
This is not the first time that the actor has been part of such an event. The camp has trained more than 75,000 girls across Maharashtra until now for free. Akshay also demonstrated some techniques to the young girls who had gathered for the session. The actor often takes time out from his busy schedule and trains with young girls to teach them basic self-defense techniques.

We all know that Akshay Kumar along with Aditya Thackeray opened a martial arts training institute for women in Mumbai. The institute trains females in self-defense free of cost. The course is for three months and today was the certification function of the same.
At the event, Alia Bhatt joined hands with Akshay and Aditya to give away the certificates to the students who were part of the course. Dressed prettily in a white shirt and shorts, the Highway actor was elated to be part of the event. She got a chance to hear inspirational stories from the girls which made her emotional.

Schools in Maharashtra for classes 1 to 12 are to be re-opened on January 24 with COVID-19 protocols, the Maharashtra School Education Minister, Varsha Gaikwad, said on Thursday.
“Even though we are re-opening schools from tomorrow, it is not compulsory for students to come to school. Parents are free to make their own decisions in this regard and should send their children to school only if they feel it is safe,” said Thackrey while talking to the media. Maharashtra Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray on Friday said International Baccalaureate (IB) board schools would be started by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in the future and students would be provided free education in such facilities.
Thackeray, MLA from Worli and guardian minister of Mumbai suburban district, also said BMC would start one CBSE and one ICSE school in each of the 24 administrative wards under it. Thackeray on Friday inaugurated the BMC's new school, with a capacity of 400 students, under the CBSE board in Aziz Baug in the eastern part of the metropolis. Among those who were present at the function were stated minority affairs minister Nawab Malik, Shiv Sena Lok Sabha MP Rahul Shewale, and Mayor Kishori Pednekar.
Thackeray said the opening of this school was a dream come true for him, adding that over 2,000 applications have been received for the 400 seats it has. Speaking on the occasion, Malik said he is the product of a BMC school, adding that there was a need to instill confidence among people about civic-run educational institutions.
Sounding an alarm on the rising novel coronavirus cases in the state, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Aditya Thackeray on Wednesday said that the capital city Mumbai may see over 2,000 COVID-19 cases today, according to news agency ANI. Speaking to reporters, Thackeray said, "Last week we were reporting 150 cases per day, now we are reporting around 2,000 cases per day. Mumbai may cross 2000 per day cases today."
Earlier today, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope also expressed concern over the rise in the number of fresh as well as active COVID-19 cases in the state, and termed it an ''alarming situation''.Tope urged people and authorities to exercise caution. He also emphasized strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols and ramping up vaccination against the infection. He said in the last 8-10 days, the active cases in the state stood in the range of 5,000-6,000. On December 10, the state had 6,543 active cases, according to the health bulletin. On Tuesday, the state had 11,492 active cases. On Wednesday, the number of active cases could rise over 20,000, the minister said.
Maharashtra on Tuesday reported 2,172 fresh coronavirus cases, up by 50 percent from 1,426 infections recorded a day before and 22 new deaths. With these additions, the state's COVID-19 tally rose to 66,61,486, while the death toll increased to 1,41,476, as per the health department. In terms of the Omicron variant spread in the country, the new and highly contagious variant of the virus, Maharashtra has so far reported a total of 167 cases.

PUNE Maharashtra Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray on Saturday said a detailed presentation will be held with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to ensure scientific work in the Mula-Mutha river development plan. Thackeray’s comments are likely to put breaks in the mega project, currently being pushed aggressively by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the PMC.
Thackeray was on a tour in Pune when he met a delegation of locals and activists. During the meeting, activists raised concerns about the river development plan and described the perils of the project to the minister.
“Met with Punekars having concerns with some aspects of the riverfront development plans being non-sustainable for Pune’s flood lines and carrying capacity. Have assured them a detailed presentation with the PMC to ensure there’s scientific work in the Mula Mutha revival project,“ Thackeray tweeted after the meeting.
Earlier on Friday, Pune Municipal Corporation during its general body meeting gave a nod to handing over the contract for the Sangamwadi-Bund garden stretch. The PMC general body approved ₹250 crores. Even though the PMC has approved the project, the state government can put it on hold, said, officials.
