The 25-year-old actress adds: "When I was approached to play a character in this show, I was quite skeptical of taking it up and I had almost said no to this character, but I was convinced to hear Avneet's story, and after that, I felt compelled to say yes. She is a really strong and powerful girl who is set to bring a very interesting and thrilling twist to the current storyline."
'Teri Meri Ikk Jindri' is a love story of two starkly different personalities – Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) and Jogi (Adhvik Mahajan). Their love story has been developing well with numerous twists and turns. Bringing forth another interesting angle in Mahi and Jogi's lives will be Avneet, Jogi's childhood friend. Aalisha divulges details and talks about her character, as she says that this character is quite different from her previous ones and anybody can relate to Avneet very easily.
"I really loved how the character has a very close connection to reality. You will find Avneet as someone who loves in abundance but can also get envious. There is a lot that she can give, but she also knows how to take it back. So, I am really looking forward to playing the role of Avneet. I sincerely believe that it's going to be a great journey for me," she concludes.
Aalisha Panwar has been creating a lot of buzzes these dates courtesy of her recently released short film, Blind Love. The short film also features Shagun Pandey in the lead and it has opened to rave reviews from the audience. Interestingly, Aalisha was seen playing the role of a blind girl in the movie and her performance garnered a lot of appreciation. Recently, the actress opened up about playing a blind girl for the first time and stated that she could relate to her character on the emotional front.
Speaking about the same, Aalisha said that she likes to have some variations in her acting and likes to try hands-on new things. “I really wanted to play this character because as an actor I always try to experiment with my roles. I love giving little variations in my acting and doing things that I have never done before. I had never played a blind girl's character before and this was a chance to do that. I was very excited to do it because this role required me to do things differently. I researched about it and worked on it with my director and producer,” she added.
Furthermore, Aalisha also stated that this project is close to her heart as it was shot in her hometown Shimla. The actress mentioned, “I really relate to my character. Other than the fact that she cannot see, emotionally the way she is and the way she is shown, I am also like that. A girl from a small town has her ups and downs, but is still happy and chirpy and is finding joy in the little things around her. And this story is also special because it was shot in Shimla which is my hometown.”
Meanwhile, the young actress is overwhelmed with the love coming her way because of Blind Love and is glad that the audience has loved her performance in the movie. “I am just amazed by the response. When I heard such good feedback, I was really happy because we worked really hard for it and even I had put my heart and soul in my character,” she added.
As the television producers are gearing up to resume shooting post the permission given by the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maharashtra government, there are certain shows which might not see the light of the day post lockdown. The list of shows like Beyhadh 2, Patiala Babes, Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein, Naagin 4, etc which have been axed during the COVID 19 lockdown, has a new entrant as Star Bharat’s Meri Gudiya is also going off-air. The news was confirmed by lead actress Aalisha Panwar who has been heartbroken with the show getting axed.
Talking about the same, the actress asserted that the team was gearing up to shoot for the show post the lockdown. However, given the current crisis, Meri Gudiya has been pulled off. Aalisha also emphasized while the team got to work for just 50 episodes, she will her time on the sets and will cherish the memories she created while working with the team.
“It was disheartening but then, whatever happens, happens for a good reason and I’ll always cherish my memories of working with this team. It was wonderful and a different experience to work for the entire team, as I got an opportunity to be part of a show that belonged to the fantasy-supernatural genre. The sad thing is when we were shooting the last day before the lockdown was announced we didn’t even know it was our last day on the set. But the good thing is we got a chance to celebrate 50 episodes together. I will miss my time on the sets of Meri Gudiya,” Aalisha was quoted as saying in a report published in the Times of India.

Naagin as a franchise on television will now see its fourth season. The supernatural serpent drama has been creating quite a stir on television and has managed to garner a huge fanbase. Earlier, it was reported that Nia Sharma and Krystle Dsouza were approached for the fourth season; however, we have learned that there are two more names in the race for the show. Ekta Kapoor dropped in the teaser during the Bigg Boss 13 launch this year where two Naagins were highlighted.
Well, a source informs us, "Nia, who had been approached for Naagin 3 as well, has politely declined the offer. The makers have now approached Ishq Mein Marjawan actors Aalisha Panwar and Puja Bose for the role. The makers are planning to go on air with the show in early November. Talks are on for the male lead as well. Vivek Dahiya was reportedly approached for the show." When we contacted Puja, she denied that she has been approached. On the other hand, Aalisha chose not to respond.
Meanwhile, Naagin 3 which had Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani, and Karishma Tanna broke several records last year with 4.5 TRPs. The show was the most successful season for the supernatural drama and producer Ekta Kapoor wishes to continue the streak. Naagin 4 will air during the weekend and usually goes on for six months and more. The initial two seasons had Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan in pivotal roles.
Aalisha Panwar who is best known for her role in Ishq Mein Marjawan is garnering headlines of late as reports of her replacing Hina Khan in the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been doing rounds on the internet. Talking about the series, the show is the reboot of the 2000s famous show of the same name. The original series starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan in the lead roles. Aarohi escapes and hides in a closet where Tara finds her and ties her to the chair. In this very instance, Deep reaches and hears Aarohi’s scream as Tara was about to stab her. Deep comes in and pulls the gun on Tara and tells her to leave Aarohi. He unties Aarohi and takes her away from there.
Aarohi informs Deep that she saw his mother in one of the masked ladies where Deep says it's impossible and dismisses her story. Aarohi repeatedly asks him to tell them what is going on as she wants whatever the truth was. Deep is seen getting angry at her and reasoning out to her that she'll be in trouble if she came to know the truth. Aarohi still demands to know the truth which makes Deep angry and leave and Aarohi sees his phone.
Aarohi comes to meet Raj and demands to know the truth. Raj said he was sure that Aarohi won’t be able to learn the truth from Deep and that his man had left the letter for her. Raj takes Aarohi and makes her sit in the car but the car stops midways. Aarohi looks for a mechanic and the man checks what the issue is. The man sees the bomb fitted and escaped from there. Aarohi hears a beep and sees the bomb. The car blasts just when Aarohi ran out away from the car.
Ishq Mein Marjawan has kept the audience entertained for over a year now. When the show was launched in 2017 as a dark suspense thriller, no one knew that the show will become such a long-runner owing to the genre it belongs to. However, the show received much love from the viewers and since its inception, the show has only grown stronger. After completing the successful run of one year last month, the show has achieved yet another feat.

Arjun Bijlani and Aalisha Panwar's Ishq Mein Marjawan continue to keep the audiences on edge with their revenge thriller plot. The show has been one of a kind with it making an on and off entry into the top 10 TRP list. Well, in order to grab more eyeballs, the team will now be heading to London to shoot for a week-long schedule. The team was earlier supposed to head to London for a honeymoon track but it had got postponed.
But now, according to a report in India Forums, the team will be leaving for London on the 27th of April. Aalisha Panwar confirmed the same to IF and said, "We have a lot of things planned for the fans of the show. There will be lots of excitement, there will be romance and there will be an edge-of-the-seat drama as well. A lot will be happening between Deep and Aarohi in London."
Meanwhile, earlier this year, the team shot in Manali for the second time. Recently it was actor Akanksha Juneja who entered the show and brought a massive change in Deep and Aarohi's relationship. In the previous episode, we see how Netra gets married to Deep, in spite of the hurdles set by Tara. Later, Netra gets shocked to see the footage of the CCTV camera from the room where Aarohi was kept. Netra wonders who the girl was and thinks to herself about having seen the room before. Netra confides in Vasundhara and tells her about a girl being tied in their house. In the turn of events, Vasundhara misleads Netra into believing that she was overthinking the whole incident. Netra was sure that it wasn’t some premonition and that she had actually seen the footage of a girl trapped in the room.
Deep comes into the room and gives Netra a necklace as a wedding gift. He gives Netra her space and according to how he had planned, he tells Netra that he won’t come close to her until she started loving Deep. Deep wanted Netra to be madly in love with him before he used her to get what he desired. Netra gets ready the next morning and wonders about the CCTV footage that kept haunting her. To Netra’s shock, there was a hidden door behind the mirror, which someone kept on knocking on. The mirror broke and Netra rushed out frightened and bumped into Deep. Deep asks the reason for Netra’s fear and blames Tara to be the reason for the incidents.
Deep goes to Tara, who is infuriated at Deep’s dishonesty towards her. Deep tells Tara to leave his world and Netra alone. She gets a gun and a few fake currency notes which Raj told her to keep safe as she would be needing them and that now it was a do-or-die situation for Aarohi and that she is a part of a race. Raj had left a tape in the room which instructs Aarohi to leave the room in the next eight minutes or else she will die.
On the other hand, Vasundhara mourns Raj’s death as the doctor asked the name of the man from Vasundhara just when Deep entered and announced the name of Raj. Here, Raj tells Aarohi that she will need two keys and the locket to win the race which Raj had managed to get after eight months of struggle and which was lost because of Aarohi. Aarohi had eight minutes to look for the key to get out of the room else the poisonous gas would kill her. While looking for the key she finds a blue iPad.
Here, Opasna mourns while Tara rejoices in Deep’s safety. Deep tells Tara to go home and take care of Vasundhara while he would be looking for Aarohi. Aarohi finds Opasna and Raj’s picture on the iPad which shocks her. Raj’s video plays on the screen where Raj informs Aarohi that Opasna was his girlfriend and that she came into Aarohi’s life to help Raj execute his plan. Opana gets a call from an unknown number asking her to reach a certain location if she wanted to get the hidden treasure.
